    thank you for this. lately i wonder if i'm meant to be doing the work, or letting go and not doing. i know that's just a dragon eating its tale there, but it's the snag that's caught me, for now, as I float down the river.

    hi sir. stream entry happend over here the spring of 2022. it was when sufferring hit is peak losing lot of loved ones friends, and people from my life for many different reasons.
    i had been meditating for over a decade but only to comfort the ego i guess lol :D. but finally awakening happened in spring of this year.
    since then i guess working through a lot of conditioning. i didnt know what happened to me at first but i finally found your material after searching through many religions. lately as time goes by there is less resistance patterns and im noticing that there isnt anyhting resisting or seeking anymore. its like all of reality comes togther in an instant to make something happen.
    things are happening just as they should now and there is a sense over here anyway that although its taking time to work through conditioning patterns there is always a possibility to seek shelter in the present moment. ( that is , if there are any instances where one didnt notice being connected to presence lol :D)
    i go through your material eveveryday especially at night i enjoy the most the zdogg material of yours i watch it over and over , becuase the pointing that happens in those videos still impact me even though ive watched them 100 times lol :D

      its kinda of sad hat, that it took me 15 years of meditating ( as a separete activity of the ego of course lol ) before finally waking up all that time later. i suppose i just have a very stubborn ego compared to others.

      since i was 5 years old i would draw and pain and play music instrments and be in presence in those moments, but i attributed the experiance always to the art or music then created an ego as being artist. it took all them decades to finally one day turn attention in on itself and a radial transformation happened but then took another few months to understand what transformation took place.i had to untangle all the conditionaing. now i relize that Art and Music is creativity or the nature of consciousness itself , reality is creative and free.

      i understand that even describing everything as i have below does not make any sense, because this exact moment is what actually is.

    indeed, there is very much reaction to circumstances and people.
    A video about decisions taken out of reaction or out of responding to life would be very helpful and how to understand that life is making decisions not the self.

    When we do natural meditation, and not trying to do anything with our attention, are we just trusting that we're not going to be lost in thought the whole time, or the majority of the time?

    • @humanbeing4995
      @humanbeing4995 2 роки тому +4

      When thought is all you know, thought is all you do. A bird on the wing without mind executes the some of the most complicated mathematical calculations without knowledge of numbers. We have had moments such as this have we not? Remember that feeling, remember how a single thought pulled you from that experience. It's completely ok to do whatever comes natural, if you try not to do one fails and becomes frustrated faster. lol. 💛💛💛

      Me too, Simone. I was at the point where I couldn’t read another word, or watch another vid, about non duality; but then Angelo’s vids appeared. They have been hugely helpful, particularly when he points to (as in this video) reactivity, which was keeping me thoroughly mired. I wish you well. All the best.

    It’s amazing how much you remember of what it’s like to be ‘caught up in illusion’. When I try to think or speak about those times I’m lost for words - do you think it’s possible to ‘teach’ if one can’t empathise with or remember ‘how it was’?

      Pinky without making any attempt accomplishes what Brain cannot, even after all his machination. One seeks control the other is alive. One is a genius, the other insane. 💛 Shaggy and Scooby always caught the perp just by being who they were, after the plan failed.

    Thank you so much for posting. I’m wondering if you’ve ever worked with, or have any advice for people with ADHD who are very easily swept away by, or have trouble dis-entangling from the thought stream?

      @@ducatikiller thanks. I’ll keep going. I sometimes feel frustration when meditating at becoming so easily and repeatedly thought engaged; I’ll “wake up” after minutes of mind wandering, only to get lost again in daydreaming a few moments later. One queue that is repeated over and over in meditation guidance is “don’t engage in thoughts”, which, in my experience, is challenging, and I haven’t heard a lot of people go into depth about this.

    So does allowing yourself to react make you more mind identified? I feel that that's what's happening to me. The moment I let myself react to something instead of respond, is the moment I fall asleep a bit and then I tend to react even more.

    By “pushing or pulling on experience”, do you just mean trying to control your experience?

    Is the experiencing what breaks these links? I’ve started each day with this video since it came out. The first was so squirmy. The last two have been calmer but I couldn’t tell you why.

    • @SimplyAlwaysAwake
      @SimplyAlwaysAwake  2 роки тому +3

      Very good, yes ultimately fully experiencing the chain of causal reactivity is the key. At some point you notice very conspicuously that there is a link missing, then the reactions don't form :) Keep tracking down those threads of distractibility or reactivity, even subtle ones :))

  • @coreinergetix
    @coreinergetix 2 роки тому +3

    Why do you need to find the links of - an imaginary chain to break it - I think this is what most people are doing all the time - why not dream another dream one of your making - so be pro-active rather than attempting to analyse something that it a mirage of that which then attempts to decipher and break it ?

    • @SimplyAlwaysAwake
      @SimplyAlwaysAwake  2 роки тому +15

      Really depends what you’re trying to accomplish. Nothing wrong with improving the storyline. However if you’re trying to get to the root of identity and end suffering once and for all, it requires a very deep investigation.
