I got the same motor on mine. but I got a backwater longtail. yes, youll need to put a fuel pump on it to keep it from going dead. also, I see your into bowfishing like me. ive been bowfishing for over 20 years now. if ya got any questions hit me up. also, with the twister mud motor, u should be able to run a steering up front so you can run it while fishing. ive set many of those up. really easy
Didnt know that.... i have switched to 25hp suzuki outboard. It better suits my fishing style. It was a pain to turn, probably cause the whole prop was underwater. Thanks for the tip!
I installed the mikuni carb and it was a night and day difference. The Mikuni carb is a must have with this engine. The kit is good, but the Predator 670 is not good out of the box. I had to do too much messing with to make it run good.....that was cutting into my fishing time!
The Predator 670 has a pulse pump from the factory. Myself and others on the net had to get rid of the stock pump and then add the electric fuel pump. Maybe not enough vacuum to run the pump well enough if your tank is way below the engine.

Thanks for the input...yeah I think I will set up the Stik steering and remote throttle and choke controls.

Put a pulse pump. On it they work off vacuum. There the same thing as a lawn mower engine uses. Because your trying to pull fuel up hill.
