Watch a full tutorial as a 2024 Chevy Silverado will have a brand new Alpine 6x9" Component speakers installed in the door and A-pillar locations. We will be using the Alpine Type R Components that produce great sound quality and bass response.
This video applies to GM Vehicles such as Sierra, Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Yukon, and Escalade models for years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and newer. This video also includes door trim and panel removal, speaker wiring, and installation.
If you have years 2019 - 2021, here are the steps needed to remove your door panel:
NOTE: if you have factory Bose amplified system, the front doors are 2 ohms so replacing front doors with 4 ohm speakers will result in a significant volume loss. We recommend testing the impedance of your speakers to best determine the best replacement for your vehicle.

What’s the tweeter size ?
Can you reuse the bose speakers when you take them out? Reason I ask is i had my fron door bose speakers upgraded. The installer said he tossed the bose speakers because of the rivits they came with. You could not reuse them. 2022 serria hd denali
How did u bypass the Bose amp? Would u need a dsp to correct the all pass filters?

For my base sound system I need a 4 ohm and can I add an amplifier to it later?

If you're going to throw away the oem speakers, I usually just take the cone by cutting the plastic tabs. You can also keep the connectors, and now you have a free adapter slash connector
