I recently bought a XGODY 7” UK Satnav to use in my coach. I set it up and inputted the coach length, width and height data etc. I then went on a private hire to Exeter. Lucky for me that my passengers knew where they were going because I had never been to Exeter before. The Satnav wanted to guide me down a narrow street with a very low bridge ahead. Needless to say that I followed the directions of the passenger sitting behind me and arrived at the destination avoiding the low bridge. Can you imagine the nightmare of trying to turn the long coach around at the low bridge on the narrow road. I have lost all faith in this product. I’m saving up for a TomTom or Garmin. The seller saw me coming. I forgot to mention that the Satnav won’t save the time when I tried to advance it. It goes back to the old saying “You pay for what you get”. Cheap is not good.
I mounted my back up camera because it records both front and rear facing in case of an accident
I like how big that screen is. I need a GPS system to supplement or replace my phone's navigation. A big feature that I appreciate is being able to enter van's dimensions
yep ive been using it for about 3 months now its pretty good
Solid. Grabbing one asap
UPDATE ON THIS GPS. It is not for 18-wheeler semis. I found this out when I tried to input my vehicle dimensions. It wouldn't take them. At all. It kept reverting to dimensions typical of smaller trucks like six and ten-wheeler box trucks.
Well I just get one, and is charging since this morning and when I disconnected is show down because the battery is low 🤦♂️. I didn’t use yet, but I will today.
It's a good idea to have 2 gps in vehicle in case 1 goes out
Great review, thank you! Looking for the budget 6"-7" GPS device (maps in car GPS are outdated and to trust mobile only - better not), but I do not want to spend $200-$400 on Garmin. After several months of use - is this model great, worth to deal with?
Yes. I still use it to this day. It's my daily work gps
@@Eagle-Xpress Thank you
Okay, now I'm going to buy it. Just need to know if it has a live traffic feature?
It tells you if there's traffic ahead ang gives you alternative routes.
I didn’t see where you go and put the size of the truck.
Does it have this option or not?thanks
it does in settings, read the manual its in there I think.
Great review, thanks. Question is, is it for big trucks too or just for cars?
I believe its for big trucks too because you can set your vehicle dims in there and it should route you accordingly. Theres reviews about it from europe too with semi truck drivers using it. But I would contact them directly just to make sure. I dont want to steer you in the wrong direction just in case im wrong.
@@Eagle-Xpress Okay, thanks for the info.
Hello 👋🏿
Does it show truck stops?
Not sure there are phone apps that will show truck stops. It will show gas stations and other things I didn't go into settings much just adjusted it to my needs.
No real time traffic ???
It shows where the traffic is and gives u alternate routes etc just like Google maps on the phone. Not sure what else would be expected from a 93$ navigation.
@@Eagle-Xpress watch this video I was looking at some of these online. What number model is it ?
I drive for a living, your info on apple Maps is in my opinion not true
Our drivers drive all over 48 states for a living too and in my opinion way too many times they get lost with apple maps. And when they use Google maps it gets then to the right place. But that's just my recommendation from experience. I used it as well and it was misleading way too many times so I switched to Google.
@@Eagle-Xpress Apple has improved some, it does routing which I need. But for hard to find, or satellite imagry is needed, Google is the definite go to! Waze is the worst, lmao
Do it talk
Yea every gps talks
