- Part 2 of our coverage of Barrett's unique and special build of an Arado Ar 234 Blitz!
In this episode, Barrett gives us an extremely good look at the model, and explains how it came to be. Enjoy!
Nice interview on the creation of this 234, he did an amazing job building a model rarely seen. Always fun to be n see info on the nuts n guts of a build. His joyous reaction after the maiden was spot on. Thanks John,
AirHammer out!!

What a great build. Barrett always delivers something cool. I like that he maidened it himself. It would be easy to differ to Brent and let him do it, but Barrett would have missed the thrill of that experience. They only fly first once. I'm glad he overcame the nerves and did it. He is now officially a jet jock!
Barrett I know you'll read this. Love your builds man. Got a couple of suggestions for next year and curious what you think about them.
1. Vought F7U Cutlass - Nobody does one, and probably for good reason. That said, VERY interesting and rarely modeled. I bet between you and Brent some creative liberties could be taken with the outline and you could make one that flies well.
2. Beechcraft XA-38 Grizzly - Look it up, nuf said, lol.
3. Anything crazy designed by Burt Rutan.
Awesome, awesome comments Adam! I agree, the Grizzly would be way too cool! I'm sure Barrett will read this, looking forward to see what he might bring next year....
Thanks John!! I forgot to explain why I put the landing gear in the wing but oh well!
@@greenseaships No worries, I'm pretty sure most can figure out why 😉👍😁
I live in the UK and I have been looking everywhere for a kit of the 234 Blitz. I'd love to make a smaller model with twin 50mm EDF's. I have no experience with scratch building.
I think this would make a superb model at smaller scale, twin 40's to 50's would be great!
Wanted to see it fly!
