Neil's opening 2+ min recap was the most on point, linguistic, colorful, thought provoking commentary on any ep of TS. Super cali fragilistic expialidocious!!
This season is on an entirely different level. I’ve enjoyed all of them, but the production value this season is out of control. And that beach sequence put a huge smile on my face.
It’s different. Maybe it was the wind for this episode but I miss the banter. I kinda liked the Carolinas format. The betting had them talking to each other more. This kinda has music or promotional video vibes. Also, I have no idea where people stand in the games. Holes all kinda blend together. Don’t get me wrong, I still really, really enjoy it and it is exceptionally well produced. It just isn’t my favorite season, yet, for the above reasons. I definitely think that the windy conditions likely forced the hand a bit though.
@@Melchior11 completely agree with this, no doubt the production quality is top notch but the older seasons seemed more intimate/up close with the guys which made them more enjoyable
Holy shit guys. The editing, the music, Neil riffing about the course in weird analogies, and the final shot of him and rand running into the ocean with the birds flying across. My god, what an electric episode.
I feel like Neil is able to keep Randy so young. Like Randy seems to always be this peaceful relaxed deep in thought moments but his loyalty to Neil as a friend pushes him out of his boundaries and just takes on these new adventures without hesitation!
Randy: “there was there only one set of footprints leading out to the ocean, why have you left me Neil?” Neil: “I didn’t leave you Randall, I carried you in”
man this possibly your best episode ever. for sure the best season. I think “I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them.” applies here
The Strapped Boys Baywatch running into the cold Pacific Ocean while a flock of birds ping pongs back and forth finishing with a double high-five might be the most wholesome thing to come out of this dark year - cheers boys
I’m so grateful that y’all come on every Tuesday to save me from the bach....wait a minute.. that’s what I said last week. Let’s try again...the whole vibe with Neil narrating was in your face and I loved every minute of it. It was like slipknot singing hallelujah at church camp. If that makes any sense. So much energy. Loved it
Fantastic narration Neil. Great words, insight and honest feelings to bring the footage to life. The final piece on the beach was a great idea and good fun to watch....shout out to the Strapped Boys!
That shot of yall running to the ocean is something special. Every ounce of joy a brotherhood you guys have, compiled into a single shot. Magnificent episode you guys. Well done. 🤍👏🏼
I don’t dislike commentary on any of the NLU videos, it’s always quality content...but Neil’s ability to describe a golf shot by way of music, tennis, football and other non golf related things sends it over the top for me. Keep up the good work, insanely good content.
This is some of the best narrated, filmed and played golf I've ever seen. You feel this when you watch it!! Thanks guys for putting this together for others to see!!
Every season gets better and better, and every episode gets better and better. The storytelling here is phenomenal. Great music, narration, and rhythm to the episode that feels completely different from other episodes and places, as is the case with all other episodes this season. I’m thoroughly impressed with you guys and how consistently great your #content continues to be. Congrats on all of your success, and keep telling stories and promoting golf!!!
Everytime Neil and Randy make that jump into a body of water, whether it be Strapped or Tourist Sauce, it brings me a feeling of joy and it’s purely amazing. Thanks NLU!
My wife and went here 4 years ago, played Bandon and Pacific, cant wait to go back, we had 2 weeks in Oregon best holiday of our life. Great contents guys keep it up.
This episode was a classic rock concert opening with a hard rocking anthem, some deep cuts scattered throughout the middle, then finally bringing it home with that feel good acoustic song to end things off, sending everyone home happy while deep in their feels. Just a joy to experience!
This series is probably the most relatable. With Randy's game looking great before the trip before having a difficult time while there, Neil discovering a way to play better just cos of a little tweak and Tron's mindf**k of a leftie reimagining. Brilliant stuff lads. 👏🏻
Neil had the kind of personality where he could narrate anything and make it entertaining. He could narrate someone mowing the lawn and youd be questioning why you didnt mow more when you were younger
You gents have truly outdone yourselves with this series. This has been a pleasure to watch so far and I look forward to seeing the rest. Great format. Great narrations and great golf. Keep up the awesome work boys.
Episode 4 had me all in my feels and wanting to go to old mac and have a teary eyed round with my dad. Episode 5 brought the energy and had me ready for a round with the boys. Hit the salt packet, play some heavy metal, and down 15 brewski's...... LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO
What a great entry into the Oregon trip! I thought your Bandon 101 episode did a good job of introducing those that sadly haven't made the trip, to the absolute golf bedrock of Bandon Dunes Resort. My 12-year-old daughter and I were in town while you guys were and we chatted briefly at the snack shop at Bandon Crossings (public course south of town, I'm sure you remember the course if not us). I bragged to you about her having walked 36 at Old Mac the day before, if you remember. Anyway, we're loving your Oregon series. Can't wait for the next uploads!
Not only are we getting names for all of Neil's shots, but also each mindset. We've known about Opus Dei Golf, and have now added Quiet Golf and Willy Loman Golf. That's wild.
Best video ever produced by you boys. Borderline cinematic. Really loved the ending. It brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for delivering this, guys. Love the awesome footage of PD!
Played it on Sunday. Was soooo beautiful, but our wind was down. Amazing to watch! I need to go back now and find the access to the beach! We spent waaaaay too much time at the PunchBowl, Shortys or Preserve after playing each course.
just finding your guys' channel as I start to get really into improving my golf. And while I'm not sure you have tips for improving my game 🙃, these videos are making me incredibly excited to get out there and make new connections. Love this stuff!
This was hands down my favourite course of the trip when I went, shot 76 from the back tees in a howler like usual, it was my favourite round of golf I've ever played, wish I could go back.
Speaking of Arthur Miller and DoaS, this quote is how I imagine I'll feel the first time I go to Bandon: “I’ve always made a point of not wasting my life, and every time I come back here I know that all I’ve done is to waste my life.”
The end of that video really showed the brotherhood of The Big Guy and Mr Electric himself. Love to see it. I think we need another staple on NLU: “Rolling with the Punches” - a non golf look into the adventures of Randy and Neil.
It almost sounds like Neil is describing a fantastic Cabernet he has been saving for an amazing wagyu ribeye rather than Pacific Dunes, but he does it so well I am wanting to play it even more. Simply stunning episode for an “American diesel “ powered course
A golf round compared to Dickens, Miller, and Emerson, all in the span of a few sentences. Throw in a few tennis references for DJ's round. Add a dash of salt, to taste. Well done, sir. Well done.
Neil's opening 2+ min recap was the most on point, linguistic, colorful, thought provoking commentary on any ep of TS. Super cali fragilistic expialidocious!!
And.....ripping guitars, booming bass and banging drums backing him up.....the best!
We need to get out there bro
That shot of Randy and Neil running into the ocean should win shot of the year.
you didnt watch last weeks episode? :S
DJ piped in the bird footage
I agree man, especially with the floc of birds flying behind them... so sick!
Randy may have 0 points this season, but his move to doff the hat and free that wind blown salad is a huge flex on TC.
This season is on an entirely different level. I’ve enjoyed all of them, but the production value this season is out of control. And that beach sequence put a huge smile on my face.
I couldn't agree more. This is like Anthony Bourdain feels

The beach sequence legit made me tear up. What a great friendship.

Living in Oregon I know how frigid the Pacific is. I hope the shrinkage wasn't permanent.
I feel like Neil is able to keep Randy so young. Like Randy seems to always be this peaceful relaxed deep in thought moments but his loyalty to Neil as a friend pushes him out of his boundaries and just takes on these new adventures without hesitation!
The Yeahtones - Lightning. Not sure who needed this, other than me, but this is my etching on the cedar. Here for all those who follow. Enjoy.
The final beach scene was the alternate ending to Shawshank Redemption.
Its how Rocky 3 should've ended. Maybe it was Rocky 2.....who can say.
Neil and Big Randy running out to sea with the flocks of birds flying over head, was probably the most beautiful and cinamatic shot I've ever seen.
Randy: “there was there only one set of footprints leading out to the ocean, why have you left me Neil?”
Neil: “I didn’t leave you Randall, I carried you in”

Best Sauce series. Including the current Australia adventure. This series is Video 101 for anyone visiting BD.

Tourist Sauce Oregon is NLU's Magnum Opus.
Maybe the best 30 minutes of anything golf related I've ever watched. Well done guys.
I don’t dislike commentary on any of the NLU videos, it’s always quality content...but Neil’s ability to describe a golf shot by way of music, tennis, football and other non golf related things sends it over the top for me. Keep up the good work, insanely good content.
This is close to one of THE best vlogs ever. The music, the commentary from Neil, the views....well everything.
This is some of the best narrated, filmed and played golf I've ever seen. You feel this when you watch it!! Thanks guys for putting this together for others to see!!
Classic ending, Randy and Neil watching the pirate ship sale away after their adventures at the Dunes. Another great video boys
Best episode of Tourist Sauce ever.
Every season gets better and better, and every episode gets better and better. The storytelling here is phenomenal. Everyone needs a friendship like Neil and Randy. Its beautiful.
Randy in pre-production : You want me to run HOW FAR to the water?
Everytime Neil and Randy make that jump into a body of water, whether it be Strapped or Tourist Sauce, it brings me a feeling of joy and it’s purely amazing.
Thanks NLU!
My wife and went here 4 years ago, played Bandon and Pacific, cant wait to go back, we had 2 weeks in Oregon best holiday of our life.

Neil's commentary gets me ready to run through a wall. Really hope he brings it home this season.

I have never commented on a UA-cam video -- but I have watched this 3 times -- its amazing -- well done guys, its a true pleasure
This season is on a different level fellas. The mix of narration, music, and course clips is so on point.
This series is simply majestic. What a masterpiece of film and production. Thank you for making this.
Amazing content guys. Please, for the love of all that's green and good in this world, never ever stop.
That shot of Neil and Randy running to the sea is just so fucking beautiful, makes me smile every time I watch this episode
This episode is fantastic! NLU is hands down the best golf content in the game and you really outdid yourself here. Thanks!
Neil had the kind of personality where he could narrate anything and make it entertaining. He could narrate someone mowing the lawn and youd be questioning why you didnt mow more when you were younger
Neil describing why he disliked 16 essentially just summarised what makes it great
“Sometimes you want to give up the guitar, you’ll hate the guitar. But if you stick with it, you’re gonna be rewarded.” - Hendrix (or TC)
Neil and Randy...our internet chums. That last shot is why we are here. Well done deej. Long live Bandon Dunes!!
I love the Death of a Salesman reference. Tourist Sauce is becoming a primer for Late American Lit and it’s delightful.
Can we please get more Neil voiceovers/intros? I dont think I've ever been more fired up to watch an episode of TS, I just wanna go fast!
You gents have truly outdone yourselves with this series. This has been a pleasure to watch so far and I look forward to seeing the rest. Great format. Great narrations and great golf. Keep up the awesome work boys.
Neil’s commentary makes this video amazing
I get more fired up when I hear the intro music to Tourist Sauce than I do for Monday Night Football. Let's GOOOOO!!!
The closing shot brought me pure joy.
After back to back night shifts I was feeling pretty exhausted but man did this bring the energy I needed ! Electric content
Unbelievable production guys! episodes keep getting better and better! Goosebumps
Can't get enough of these videos gents. Keep up the great work, I appreciate every bit of it.
My favorite course that I've ever played! I could play Pacific every day for the rest of my life and be in love every time!
The dap bit is hilarious. 4 looks like the big brother of 13/14 at Sandpiper. Love it.
Sick references on the back nine!
Dude your references are out of control, everyone knows that.
I love that each one of the guys has a course to narrate this season. And Pac Dunes was perfect for Niel's electric personality 😉

Thanks for saying hi and for the support!
Neil: Randy could have done with a caddy, he hit some shots with some bad intel
DJ: let's show some shots of randy topping some tee shots
The Icarito narration is absolutely phenomenal! Well done!
Not only are we getting names for all of Neil's shots, but also each mindset. We've known about Opus Dei Golf, and have now added Quiet Golf and Willy Loman Golf. That's wild.
"Entire United States to my left... I'm in the water" will be the subtitle to my autobiography.
The Neil commentary is definitely top tier.
You guys said it perfect! Such an amazing golf course and when the greens get fast in the wind, putting really does feel scary!
The Pie-man has gone full Wes Anderson...and I like it.
Best video ever produced by you boys. Borderline cinematic. Really loved the ending. It brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for delivering this, guys. Love the awesome footage of PD!
Icarito riding those ocean thermals. Good thing Squid have 6 arms to keep pace with the hang loose shakas that were undoubtedly flying early & often.
Played it on Sunday. Was soooo beautiful, but our wind was down. Amazing to watch! I need to go back now and find the access to the beach! We spent waaaaay too much time at the PunchBowl, Shortys or Preserve after playing each course.

What is the song playing at 12:46 in?!? One of the greatest Riff's ever!
stellar work boys. find some time to visit in Feb.. all the green gorse blooms brilliant yellow.
Speaking of Arthur Miller and DoaS, this quote is how I imagine I'll feel the first time I go to Bandon:
“I’ve always made a point of not wasting my life, and every time I come back here I know that all I’ve done is to waste my life.”
This entire series is outstanding. Love it boys.
Im confident Neil and Doak could fall in love, run away together, and live a long happy life building outlandish courses
“Just be enough!!”
*comes up 20 yards short*
Tragically relatable content from DJ for those of us who have no clue how to play in windy conditions
The end of that video really showed the brotherhood of The Big Guy and Mr Electric himself. Love to see it.
I think we need another staple on NLU: “Rolling with the Punches” - a non golf look into the adventures of Randy and Neil.
True genius being showcased here. Applause gents. 👏🏻👏🏻
Upon reflection, loved this episode. Despite Neil's at times one-sided literary devices, great narration and captivating viewing
Really good guys. Enjoyed the series so much. Already planning our next trip...
That 30sec from 26min onward so good!! Keep up the good work!
Love how DJ matches music to the holes that they are playing! Nice details :)
Great video as always guys! And that ending was class! Great drone footage with the birds!
Cool slow motion shot of Neil and Randy running into the sea
Oh man, this course, you guys, with that beach drone shot at the end. Well done
love the Drew Holcomb instrumental throughout the end!
It almost sounds like Neil is describing a fantastic Cabernet he has been saving for an amazing wagyu ribeye rather than Pacific Dunes, but he does it so well I am wanting to play it even more. Simply stunning episode for an “American diesel “ powered course
I have got to be on the look out for backwards sport coats now, didn't even know I should be looking.
Soundtrack for this episode is perfection 👌
Can you tell me what the first song was??
This ep is excellent. Rewatched
Narration was great on this episode. Nice work!
Great content. One of your best videos yet. Loved it.
i love all the interviews with mick jagger
This will be a welcomed reprieve from tonight's inevitable madness #MAKEBRINGINGONTHEPANCAKESGREATAGAIN
Excited to see if the second serve holds or if Neil is going to double fault his way through
A golf round compared to Dickens, Miller, and Emerson, all in the span of a few sentences. Throw in a few tennis references for DJ's round. Add a dash of salt, to taste. Well done, sir. Well done.
This is gonna be so pure.
neil might be the Edgar Allen Poe of deprecating golf commentary, the kid killed this episode
Neil's description of Pacific Dunes belongs in every golf magazine describing the difference between the courses any Bandon.
so awesome! but also, I wonder if the strapped boys realized how far of a run it was to the water haha
I busted a 350 YD drive on #4 at Pacific, best drive I hit the entire trip, well needed too. Got home with a knocked down 9i, 2 putt par. Easy money!
Another gem from the boys!!! Thanks for the distraction from the real life version of "Idiocracy" currently on TV...
