Last fall my wife was diagnosed with cancer...right around the premiere of TS Oregon. Those early days were absolutely terrifying but tough days at the hospital ended on a high note because that series was waiting at home. They were comfort when I needed it.
A year later...My wife is home, in remission and settling into our new normal.
TS Michigan was fabulous and I can't begin to express how positive the last two series have been during the toughest year-ish of our lives. Respect. Thank you.

Watching Neil pick up driver on 18 was like watching a man with 4 fingers pick up another firecracker. Props to Icarito for curing his self immolating pyromania on this trip.
Agreed, but to be fair, he might have taken less club on numerous holes. I think he only hit one iron off the tee on the fours and fives.
At least with his on course audio this season no one will ever question if Mr. Big gives it his all out there.

You guys did a great job on this series. Michigan has some awesome beaches on the Great Lakes. Very underrated. As a Michigander, we take concept of truly getting the most out of our summer months very seriously here and I appreciate you noticing that.
Pasties actually came from the miners! The bread was the “foil” and miners would eat the inside as their mid shift meal! So glad you guys got to experience the UP!!! Love from Michigan!
What an awesome series guys. It's crazy how many people don't realize how great golf is in Michigan! Love my home state and thanks for doing a great job of showing it off. You still have so many other courses to cover.

Native Michigander here. Been all around the state playing a lot of courses this great state has to offer. Greywalls is a bucket list course I’ve still yet to play but makes me itch anytime I see or I hear someone talk of it.
All in all, best golf content on UA-cam. You guys make guys like me itch for that next group golf trip with the boys. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks NLU for showcasing some of the fantastic golf venues in the state of Michigan! For a cold weather state we’re pretty proud of the variety of golf our state provides and you’ve just highlighted a small number of them….come back anytime there’s an open invitation!
You guys played some great Michigan golf courses, but you just scratched the surface. We are blessed with tons of great golf courses. Western-most state in the eastern time zone.... you can easily play three 18's in a day and still have time to enjoy the best sunsets in America. Not biased.....I just live here.
Stay at Island Casino. They have packages that include Greywalls, Timberstone, Sweetgrass (LPGA tournament course) and the newer one Sage Run. We do a buddies trip there every year. Great time. Greywalls is a beast, but my favorite course.

I’d be remiss to say that you all have not only changed my perspective on golf, but possibly more so on life. Great to see Neil win one and truly hardened my stance on yelling “Icarito” each and every time I fly the green. The next introspective bench I sit on I’ll raise a cold beer to each of you. Also put Ben’s hoodie vest with the reverse kangaroo pouch in the merch store. The state rests.
Neil introduced us all to another alter ego today - sliparito. And sliparito is just a different class.
As a member of Greywalls I can confirm it is as hard as it looks. It's not a risk/reward course. It's just all risk! Bummed I missed you guys while you were here. Keep up the great content!

Not sure about that one.. normally you do get relief from an animal hole as a abnormal course condition, except when in a penalty area...what did that red stake mean near him? Was he inside or out?

I always love it when the Strapped Boys get together. Neil telling Randy to pick up his 2nd putt on 17 is the ultimate mark of friendship during competition.

Goddammit if that wasn't kind of emotional to watch there at the end of the final match. Maybe it was DJ Pie's edit just lingering on the pure drama of the match in those last few holes, but there was legit tension and compassion for the Strapped Boys head-to-head. I felt gutted for Randy not pulling out the home field victory, but at the same time, Neil was due. Superb content, not just golf content. That was just pure excellence. This is NLU!

Good stuff, guys; just good stuff. Quality just keeps going up and up and up. As a guy who used to live in Grand Rapids and golfed around the state, you really captured the magic of Michigan golf.
The kid got the dub. Very happy for Neal. Couldn’t have been a better match with two great friends, strapped boys and last years season winner. Enjoyed that very much!!
Finding these guys in lockdown has completely rejuvenated my love for golf, beyond belief. To the point where I almost couldn’t breathe when I found the ‘Wales’ episode of the Trap Draw, because I couldn’t get over the fact that Big knew of my home country. Even though its not even remotely something I should be surprised by, the fact that Wales was being acknowledged by NLU felt like such a badge of honour 😂

Randy allowing that drop, what a class act. Not to impune Icarito's intentions at all, but just felt scummy. Nothing Neal did, and you gotta take the breaks when you get em. Congrats on the victory Neal, well deserved.
I felt guilty for sure (you can see it on my face) even though it was a textbook drop/ruling. It was for sure the break of the year to get free relief when the ball stop in that animal hole 2 feet from a hazard at that point in the match. But, sometimes the rub of the green falls your way, and from all the scar tissue from chasing the mega bonus, sometimes you need a mega break.
Yeah that's just understanding and using the rules of golf, literally any competitive player would do the same

When I started the Australia tourist sauce season, the shelter episodes and not being able to follow anything really put me off. I looked through the playlists and saw they got longer and persevered.
These seasons just get better and better. What great golf content. Some of the best out there for sure. Between this and Strapped it's hard to beat.
Really looking forward to the next season of both.

Can’t tell you guys how much I looked forward to these every week. So much fun to watch. Don’t know what I’m going to do now!
Neil caught a break with the snake hole. The tension was palpable as he and Randy walk off the green in silence, with Neil winning the hole. Both men knew the tension was high, but as Strapped Brothers, they've overcome adversity in the past. But not this time, dear viewer. As Neil uses this break to secure his first ever Tourist Sauce victory, Randy can't shake how close he was to glory. But maybe the distance will help resolve any issues--Randy heads back to Colorado's easy-living lifestyle. But something's not quite right. While his friends in Boulder are in the clouds as they listen to the latest vinyl release they picked up at the corner store record shop, Randy's mind keeps going back to that snake hole. "Was that really a snake hole, or just an old footprint" he wonders, "probably made by someone playing as it lies, too."
Months later the two reconnect for the next season of Strapped, Kansas. The only thing flatter than the golf courses is the friendship between Neil and Randy. While Randy was replaying that moment in his head, it turns out Neil hadn't played golf in months. He was too afraid to look another golfer in the eye, knowing in the deepest part of his soul that his moment of glory was tainted. The first day of Strapped is the worst piece of content NLU ever creates. Hardly a word is said between the two. Both shoot triple digits. But halfway through the moneyround, Neil is even par. Randy makes small offhand comments after every made putt. But a tornado warning comes on in the middle of Neil's swing on the 10th and he hooks it into some brush. Sure enough, a ruling is needed. Neil decides to play it as it lies, and double bogeys the hole. Randy feels bad for his old friend, but says nothing. On the 13th, with Neil still 2 over, that tornado strikes down, sending the two sprinting to the clubhouse for shelter. They make it just in time and hunker down as the fierce storm rages above. While inside, the two realize that it's not the golf that matters, but the friendships made along the way. All is once again right between the Strapped Brothers. Neil goes out and finishes the round 5 over, the megabonus still just a distant dream.
What a great finale to watch the Strapped bros. compete in the final round. I just gotta say Neil, you showed great sportsmanship at the 17th. That was all class.

Another great series, the ultimate format of a buddy's golf trip with some non-golf content. This one was special for me as it took me to a part of the US I haven't been too....those beaches looked like something straight from the Aegean, although I bet the water temp is different! Well done to all involved, great production and soundtracks. The best golf content on the Internet.
