Disturbing the Zander in middle of their spawning. The closed season starts way too late in the Netherlands.
Sadly, the magic is taken with all that live scope "fishing". Fishing like that takes all the mood and excitement out of the competition.
The French guys are soooo pleasant. They are showing, that fishing is much more than just "scope" a big amount of big fishes. They have a good time and they are showing real passion.
Leider wird die Magie mit dem Live-Scope-"Angeln" genommen. Sowas nimmt dem Wettkampf irgendwie die ganze Stimmung und Spannung.
Die Franzosen sind soooo sympathisch. Sie zeigen, dass Angeln viel mehr ist, als nur möglichst viele große Fische zu „angeln“. Sie haben eine gute Zeit und zeigen echte Leidenschaft.
Alltså Westin! Förstör hela avsnittet iom användandet av Livescope. Sjukt trist att titta på!

Geisteskrank ist nur die Langeweile, die entsteht, wenn mann Team Westin beim Live fishing zusieht. Und mehr gab es auch in der ersten Folge auch nicht zu sehen. Dass mein Abendbrot ein wenig zu salzig war, ist dann auch das größte Highlight an diesem Freitagabend gewesen!

Hab mich echt das ganze Jahr auf Zander pro gefreut aber wie Team Westin angelt nimmt einem in der ersten Folge die Freude…
Om Dag 3 ska vara "vertikal" och "elektronik" fiske så blir de väl lite fel att Westin fiskar Livescope/Active target från start? 🤔
Förstår inte dom säger i introt att dag 3 är vertikal och prick fiske tillåtet. Men dom skannar med live scoop och prickskjuter bara på fiskar som dom ser var dom är med live scoop, följer jiggen efter vad fisken gör. Om det inte är prickskjutningen så vad är. Gillar reglerna att bara sista dagen det är tillåtet annars blir det tråkigt om alla avsnitt bara var att titta på skärm och göra något kast då och då.
1:14 Första dagen gäller båtfiske förutom "vertikalfiske", dvs det som kallas "pelagiskt prickskytte" är tillåtet. Sen kan jag tycka att det hade varit bra om man sagt att alla live-teknologier var otillåtna dag 1 eftersom allt tillåts dag 3 men Kanalgratis får ju själv välja sina regler.
@@elwhagen ja förvisso, men de blir en tråkig produktion att titta på. Är bara se första avsnittet hur mycket de drar iväg för Westin.

Sadly I have to skip every part of Westin. It has nothing to do with fishing, sadly destroys the season ones more. Wish u guys would learned from last times and only allow livescope on day 3

They are casting and not fishing vertical right under the boat ... little hole in the rules that was used last year as well. Didn't win anything though.
Live systems are not banned on day one. As long as the participants are casting, they are not breaking any rules.
That was the first time i skip most of film... I was waiting for this and atm I'm disappointed. Dunno what team westin is doying... I liked that classic old school idea of first day, but they ruined it for sure... Go team Nays and Berkley, i hope u will show them how to catch the biggest! :)
Team Westin ist so lächerlich mit ihrer Livetechnik. Ich freue mich dieses Jahr wieder dieses Team verlieren zu sehen. Hab nichts gegen die Technik aber wenn das Regelwerk so ausgereizt werden muss sieht man schon die echte Performance dieses Teams. Allen anderen drücke ich die Daumen allen voran Toby und Dustin

So you are going to skip all the teams in Netherlands too? I guarantee they are using same machines for finding the fish. Specially in the night fishing. Some of them might be doing some more and longer throws though. I think it's cool that people are using different tactics in different countries.

...and this is all I have to say about this kind of fishing: It's incredibly boring to watch.
As a Finn its shameful to watch 😂 really takes the magic away from fishing when they just drive around the lake sniping it with a camera
@@Treasier The teams in the netherlands don't fish vertically on the livescope when it's not allowed. You are not allowed to use vertical fishing under the boat. Even if you cast 5 meters, if you drive the boat over the lure you are still vertical fishing. I don't see the teams in the netherlands do that.

Love the fact that there’s a Zander Pro, it’s such a cool fish 😎 What I personally dislike is this Westin-video-game fishing, but I guess that’s what FF/skipping is for. That being said; for tech enthusiasts, only-big-fish hunters and weekend warriors with little to no time on their hands it’s probably great…

Livescope is allowed but no vertical and pelagic directly at the boat, they have to throw at least five meters. I think it’s cheating what they do but it’s allowed regarding the rules. I don’t like it at all.

Same as last season. Compere their first and last day of fishing last year. Same! And it's going to be like that this year also. Wait and see...

@@peterpan7290 das zählen die nicht zu pelagen, weil die die Fische auf 4-5m anwerfen. Ist jedoch total sinnlos und langweilig, weil sie sie mit livescope suchen..
Mich erinnert das ans Enten Fischen auf einem Jahrmarkt😅

Cant believe this lynch for Team Westin. If jury does not see any fail on this, how come audience see it? If the rules allowed to fish like that, it is not Westins fault.

As I said last year, there should be one shore day and one boat day without electronics and finally one boat day with electronics.

The fishing from Westin is not OK. Only live Scope and not more,they have no spirit and no water craft. Next year the rules must change. I like the french guys, they are funny. Toni is are my hero, its a tournament but fishing is allso fun.
Livescope should maybe be banned on the first day too

Es tut mir wirklich leid, aber dieser Westin-Finne nervt total. Ohne technische Unterstützung fängt der vermutlich gar nichts.

@@mikkosalonen403 i see a lot of good fish on their Facebook Page, but there are always min. 2 sonars on the boat (also 5 years ago an earlier ;)). He is a really good sharp shooter but nothing more. Btw you should take a look at the other competitors, Freddy and Christopher catch also giants in a row.

Das was Team Westin da veranstaltet gefällt mir definitiv nicht. DER Begriff Playstation-Angler trifft es wohl ziemlich gut. Wenn das die Zukunft des Angelsport sein soll dann mal gute Nacht. Da sitze ich lieber mit einer Bambusstippe in der Natur und denke an good old times.

Guys, can we stop about team Westin? If it was'nt allowed to go sharpshooting, kanalgratis would have said it in the beginning this season..
And personally i dont agree eather about how they fish, but this is allowed..

I am not sure why you allow livescope on the first day again. Just like last year and there was an outcry then also.
Great fish but it is just not fun to watch without seeing the livescope image itself. And not fair to the other teams not doing it.

This type of Live Scope Fishing from Team Westin is sooooo boring... sorry, but thats not even fishing for me. Ive got nothing against those Boys, but something like that has no place in an format like Zander Pro - thats my opinion.

Es ist schon okay dass Kanalgratis dieser neuen Technik des Livescope Angelns ein Plattform gibt , das wird von vielen amerikanischen Kanälen auch schon praktiziert, Ich kann dem leider gar nichts abgewinnen und wenn dann sollte das nur einen Tag erlaubt sein, oder jeden Tag eine Stunde (Powerhour) . Ich finde die Angelei von Westin so interessant wie Forellenpuffangeln, da weis ich auch dass ich im Normalfall immer fange. Aber Tobbe und Dustin werden Westin eh niedermachen , Freddy Harbort kann auch große Zander fangen ohne Livetechnik , und die zwei sympathischen Franzosen holen sich die Punkte für die Anzahl !

Came here after trying the German version. It is great in general that you offer a German version. Don't get me wrong but it feels as if a translation from a non-German native speaker is read from a book to the audience there. I'll stick to the English version this year.

Thank you for our constrictive feedback. The German Kanalgratis team members are still new to the channel and new to the task, and so are we as producers, but we will do our best to level up quickly for our Germans who want to watch the German version. Perch Pro & Fly vs Jerk will also be narrated by the same and we should observe a development thru out the season. If it’s not up to standard we will make a change. It’s not a way to save cost for us, its less costly and faster with a senior speaker, but we stand behind our German team and believe they will do fine over time. Funny how so many have opinions about using scope is cheating and shouting DQ while never used one to understand what it takes to operate. It's the organizers fault if rules aren't clear enough not team westin's. I personally enjoy watching different techniques quite a lot. Sure would love to watch them compete completely 'blind' without any electronics on day one but then they would end up in same river in Holland side by side this time a year.
The rules are clear. No vertical under the boat. The cast 5 meter, then drive the boat over it. They are fishing vertical. It doesn't matter what it takes to operate or how much boating skill you need. Vertical fishing is not allowed. But publicity for Westin and a dumb choice after last year's actions.
@@Alexander711 If that is interpreted as vertical fishing then rules need to change. How do you define what is casting and what is not? Casting the line 20m and the fish follows and strikes under the boat, is that vertical or casting. As i stated i would prefer blind casting completely without any electronics but it would end up more boring results as guys would becompeting side by side casting in same river. It really helps if you would have even tried once for using scope, you would notice it really isn't the rainmaker 90% of people here believe it is.
@@Fleshgear1 Listen, what they are doing is only giving the lure action when it's vertical under the boat. Don't cast to have to intention of animating the lure at that distance. They intent to drop the lure over the fish and to only move the lure when its vertical under the boat. But you can read all the comments below, you are one of the very few that thinks this is following the rules.

The sound on some of the teams is a bit muffled. Especially bite of bleak is very difficult to hear. But for example Westins sound is fine. Maybe on the next episode it can be finetuned a bit when editing?

Last year team „electronics“ fished all day in the same spot and only caught small Zander which is showing that without the electronics they are absolutely average fishermen.

What Team Westin does really is cheating. Maybe the cast 5m+, but many of the fish they catch vertical right under their boat (see @26:25). How is this allowed? They did the same last year and got away with it, why are they allowed to do it again? It's not fair to everyone else competing.
Westin is not breaking any rules. They catch their fish while casting, so it is allowed. There are no rules against the use of live imaging.
