So this is actually the reason I'm invested in this game. In real racing, dialing TC off (or exceptionally low) is often how drivers eek out their best lap times. Letting the tires slip lets the driver enable more corner angle control in the turns + exits, and it lets you wrest control over the car's rotation so much better. is tire wear; letting your car slide around the track might get you that extra .4, but it will cost you 10 pounds of tire rubber. Just like IRL, LMU is an endurance game, and having TC off for every lap will just vaporize your tires. TC low/off is fantastic for setting a fastest lap and executing a pre-pit push, but quite terrible to your tire health in a long stint.
Yesterday, I joined two practice servers for Porsche 911 RSR fixed race at Spa and the default TC and TCC were 4 and in the other TC and TCC were 6 bizarre that not always the same when joining server. Either way, I will persist with TC0 and TCC0. Thanks for watching.
So im the guy that dnf'd on mixed class race (p1) and I was also not using TC. But because I love super GT and they don't use TC or ABS and its fun. Until you spin it lol. And I still don't know why it didn't let me do the stop and go penalty.
@@JamesClarksonSimracing Mainly Porsche, even if they say its not as good, I find it fun, although the Corvette is my fav in terms of feel and sound, I just have more experience in porsches. Exited for next season (if the game is still alive) for gt3s.
The 911 RSR is enjoyable to drive. TC 0 and TCC 0 seem very usable in qualifying and in the race here at Spa.

Under the tc section, does slip angle actually mean what it says?
