    9:52..sir you said here about the packing rings function, that it is just to push the oil rings out a little,so its becomes tighter to the block.
    This are my questions sir
    1.) Is it necessary to use packing rings when ringing an engine for the first time?
    If yes..which type are we using sir(you know we have the fat one and tiny one )
    If No...pls 🙏 kindly give clarification sir

    Weldone, I just gues you did that just to make a point, if not you and I knows it won't work for long before it starts drying oil or smoking

    I like you lessing. It very clear and understandable. My question on this is how did you dismantle the half engine in the first place? Also is it possible to work on the piston and rings without having to go through the crankcase?

      @@bencoinstitute do u have a video of how u disassembled the half engine? I am working on my abandoned SV6800E2 generator and I got stuck at that point. I have watched other videos but they don't have good illustrative ability as u.

      Then sir
      When Ringing engine for the first time also...is it necessary you use a standard plus ring for it also ?

    • @bencoinstitute
      @bencoinstitute  10 місяців тому

      It depends on how weak the block is...
      For a very weak block it is advisable u use parking rings..
      **I use the light parking rings, that laps with the oil rings well
      **yes it is advisable to use std+ rings when ringing for the first time otherwise in few weeks your generator smokes if you don't use std+ rings
