I vote for right when you walk in for the tree. I think you will be able to enjoy it so much more with it there in sight from the living room and dining room/kitchen. Can't wait to see it all set up! Our house is on a holiday home tour for our town, so I'm decorating early!! :)

Those chubby cheeks & contagious smiles. I just watched the house tour before I came over actually, what a beautiful home! I think the Christmas tree would look beautiful on the wall as you walk in the door. I think where the boxes are it may be a bit hidden, & I believe Christmas trees should always be seen! Once the lights are on its lovely to see them twinkling through the window at night or cuddled on the couch with the lights off :) I think a book shelf will look wonderful where the boxes are. I love how Jared plays with the children, my brothers were the same with me & are now the same with their own - a bit of rough & tumble but the kids seem to love it! Xx
Hi Ellie I am only 13 but I think you should put your Christmas tree by the wall as you walk in the door and put your books in the corner area because the Christmas tree wouldn't be up all year so it wouldn't always take up that area... But if you have the books there you will always have something taking up that space so I would put the books in the corner and the Christmas tree by the front door!!!!! Also that way people can see your pretty Christmas tree! :-) xx
In reference to where you should put the tree -- In the corner with the book boxes, is there a plug-in? it didn't look like it from the video, but maybe it was hiding. I think it would look amazing in the middle area you first pointed to... it would be covering up the light switch a little... but, i think it would look BEAUTIFUL sense it would be the first thing you see when you walk in =) can't wait to see how you decorate for Christmas!
I think the tree would look SUPER cute in the corner by Jackson's closet and then the spot right in front of the door would be cute if you got a small table and had a little nativity scene? Purty darn cute, I think! =)
Ellie put the Christmas tree by the big wall when you come in the front door in the back by the stair is too hidden. And when Christmas is over put a hugh beautiful mirror on that wall facing the front door with a nice side table below it with maybe a lamp and beautiful Ornaments the table could be sectional with either draws or beautiful pull baskets. Hey Ellie! Jackson's play closet looks fun, but think about buying attachments for the toy shelves to keep them from tipping if Jackson pulls on them. Its surprisingly easy for even little kids to pull over shelves by accident, but you can prevent that by picking up some safety brackets. There are some really cheap on Amazon!
I like the xmas tree going in the nuk area. Wouldn't fall over so easily when Jackson goes to knock it down cause there's walls on each side of it. Its like it would have its own area. Think the bookshelf should be in the front when you open the door. ♡
