After two years of fertility issues, a miscarriage and our beautiful 8 month old daughter I wasn't sure what our fertility journey would be like after my daughter was born. Today I took a pregnancy test...and it was positive!! Ellie I get to be pregnant with you again. I started following your vlogs when I was struggling with my fertility. I cannot believe I get to watch you on your journey again...while being pregnant! Omg, praise the Lord!
It's you two's love for one another that makes Jackson such a happy, healthy, joyful child. You guys are doing such an amazing job raising him and showing him a healthy, loving marriage. You guys love for one another is inspiring. I love your family. I kind of hope you have a boy next because I love watching my two boys that are 19 months apart play/wear the same clothes, share a room, learn about stuff together, etc. They are best buds. you guys are so organized! I wouldn't even think to wrap baby gear to avoid dust and stuff! lol. After my experience with my first boy and potty training, I'm so relieved we had a girl after :) Either way kids are amazing girl or boy :)
There are only 3 stairs in my house, so my son really didn't get much practice, but he never would crawl down them. He skipped that completely. It wasn't until he started walking at 11-12 months that he actually started stepping down the stairs. He just never learned to crawl backward down them. Jackson's probably not far off from walking, so maybe he'll step down them in a couple of months. :)

My brother and I are the same age apart as your babies will be and I was forced to just wear boy clothes! hahaha, people used to tell my Mum I was such a cute little boy so she eventually gave in and got dresses!
You can teach Jackson to sit on the stairs and go down step by step like on a slide. It is the way I teached my cousins (and the way I learned it when I was a child) Lots of love from Basel (Switzerland)
I taught my niece to go down the stairs while sitting. So she'd be sitting and then scoot down one step at a time. Love your videos by the way, they are part of my daily routine :) I always keep the Mecham family in my prayers :)
I taught my oldest how to go down stairs by bumping down on his butt. However, he was already a year old at the time we moved into the house with stairs... Trying to teach him to go down backward is probably the best way at his age. Just keep showing him, he'll get it before you know it!
