Hi! thanks for the video. Wondering how/if I can use this to do a Zoom call where I am using an Excel spreadsheet illustration for 2-3 people. I will have to use my keyboard to change data points.
You are amazing! I’ve been here less than five minutes, still don’t know WTH I need but I believe if I dig into your videos, I may be cooking with gas in NO TIME!!
@@CourseBuildersAcademy how kind of you and thank you for responding. I’m so frustrated. This is a nerve wracking situation where I could use a geek friend to see what I have on hand that can be used under a dire situation! I’ve seen teleprompters that I’d love to have, Elgrato toys galore but I’m in a jam, and hoping I can make chicken salad out of chix poop!! 🤣 I will go watch what you provided and if there’s even an event for beginners, I’m in need. About to dive in. Wish me luck. Thank u again!
@@CourseBuildersAcademy Andrew!! I sent email to info@coursebuildersacademy. Does that work? I even tried to send you a video but I believe it was too big so trying to see if it went.
is there any other cheap alternatives. I have a teleprompter and ipad just sitting there wait to mirror flip but I don't want to pay the 4 bucks a month on the duet air. I prefer to just pay a one time fee.
Andrew, did my questions make you want to retire?? Am I helpless? I live in an area where our nearest Best Buy is an hour away so I’d have to Amazon any type of video capture device. It’s so hard to believe these iPhones don’t plug and play with my pc without a $100 minimum capture card. This teleprompter is overkill for my job interviewing.
Thank you Andrew great video. One thing I ran into if your using a wide angel lens like a 16mm the lower plate where the ipad rests is seen in the shot.
Cool solution, great video, thanks a lot Andrew! Unfortunately I cannot manage to get the teleprompter mode working on a Win10 Android combination. All works fine, but I do not see the option to enable teleprompter mode. DUET Support has not replied yet... Anyone any expericence?
Not being on Windows or Andriod I'm at a disadvantage here, but I think they made it only available in the Duet Air App and not the standard app. In the Air App at least on the iPad it's under settings ( little gear icon ) and then click the Camera icon on the bottom of the screen
Thanks Andrew. The website states "Duet users have requested this feature over the years, and we worked with as many as we could to fine-tune the experience and make it completely cross platform". I now received an answer from their support team that it is currently not available for Android. They plan to have it - but no timeframe when it will be ready! I'll keep an eye on it, that should be a game-changer for online trainings.
Great video Andrew. However, I could use a little extra help. So I'm hosting a webinar in Kajabi via UA-cam via StreamYard (thanks to you). In the webinar I'll be presenting a slide deck from Canva. So I'm trying to figure out how to look at the camera while needing to read either from the slides or from the notes on the side of the slide in presenter mode. The way I have set it up currently is that I have my laptop and an extra monitor (panoramic). I dragged the audience screen onto my laptop which is closed. On the extra monitor, I have streamyard pulled up on the left and canva on the right. So my eyes are looking left to adjust layouts and bring up banners, etc, on StreamYard, but I'm looking right to view my Canva slides and notes. Not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated!
I do this using a teleprompter with the script on it, as I'm reading the script I flick through the slides and narrate. I use an An called "Teleprompter" from Pavonine - works like a charm.
I'm a little confused. I want to record short videos on my phone while reading from a teleprompter and be able to make eye contact. Do I HAVE to use an ipad or a camera? (It's possible my level of tech is below what you're teaching.)
You need a device to film, that could be a camera or a phone, the teleprompter I used in this video allows you to use a phone as a camera and comes with adapters to use a phone as a camera. You will also need an iPad to use as a monitor, this is what displays your screen in front of the lens. Does that make sense? If not please let me know
That would take a week to figure out. Thank you for sharing. Great job. 🎉

Thank you Andrew as always great ideas for us beginners. 🤓
My pleasure! Paul. I love making them!

You can get cheaper $20 adapters that are ok, not as good quality as the elgato but they do work

If you use Ecamm you can adjust that and zoom in slightly just to take that out of the shot
nice video but no where to see the products you use. Trying to sell me a course while I'm just researching for what options I have...
I do show what I use, where to get it, how much it is and a quite a few tips too: bit.ly/3DGNOLw
