The base rear-wheel-drive 2013 Grand Cherokee has a 290-horsepower V6 engine matched to a five-speed automatic transmission. There is also an available 360-horsepower V8 engine paired with a six-speed automatic. For even more power, Jeep offers a performance-oriented SRT model, which generates 470 horsepower. The Grand Cherokee handles well. When properly equipped with various packages, the Grand Cherokee has outstanding off-road capabilities. These packages add features like adjustable suspensions, abundant ground clearance, and various traction modes. The Jeep also has comfortable ride quality.
The Grand Cherokee’s fuel economy ranges from an EPA-estimated 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway down to 12/18 mpg city/highway (with the V8 SRT8).
The 2013 Grand Cherokee seats five. Both rows of seats are supportive and comfortable, and they offer good legroom. Cloth seats come standard, but leather seats are available. There are also available heated first- and second-row seats, as well as cooled front seats. The Grand Cherokee has complete sets of LATCH child-seat connectors in the second-row outboard seats and a middle-seat tether anchor.
Among the interior features in the Grand Cherokee are a six-speaker stereo, a tilting and telescoping steering wheel, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. Available features include a voice-activated navigation system with Bluetooth, satellite radio, and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system. The audio and climate controls are easy to use and well-placed.
The Grand Cherokee trails other midsize SUVs when it comes to cargo space. It has just 68.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the second row folded and 35.1 cubic feet when the second-row seats are up.

No kidding. My uca bushings are shot on my 2011 Jeep and I came here to see if I could do it since the ship quoted me about $1000 after replacing both uca’s and alignment
Those bolts can be removed with out taking the air fitting off the top of the strut just need to loosen the 3 nuts enough to pull the strut forward and sneak them by. The way its done in the video you'll probably have to take it to the dealer to get the air system refilled/topped off because it is filled with nitrogen and not oxygen.
Are you sure? Can you move the strut forward with 3 bolts, by not disconnecting and dont lose nitrogen?
Yes. I’ve always done it by using a scan tool to remove air from the strut to the reservoir and loosening the top 3 nuts. Which gave me enough room to sneak the bolts behind. It’s a tight squeeze but I’ve done it on multiple Grand Cherokees

I have to replace my upper control arms in my 2016 limited. I think without having air shocks, i wont need to loosen the shock absorber 😁 it should be quite easy.

No you dont
The control arm mounting bolts have nuts that are not visible in this video. The right mounting bolt's nut is very hard to get to from what I can see. This video says do in reverse but I have mine out but am looking to see how to get to that nut to put back on....

Is a 2014 5.7 summit with air suspension much different than this?

@@AxtuoAx Man I got everything off cept for the air strut...to get that bottom bolt out i had to unscrew it even after jacking up the control arm a little to try and relieve some tension On other videos it just slid out. Ive loosened the 3 nuts on top almost completely off but this thing won't budge. The bracket seems to be stuck where the bolt went through. Do I just hammer it off? Also to torque it back up, is it ok to torque the bolt instead of the nut? The rear nuts in the engine bay seem like it'd be a problem to get my long torque wrench in there.

Man , I have a 2015 overland and after watching how crazy it’s to eve removed all those parts to get the control arms free. Definitely bad engineering design plan 👎🏼

Well it Absolutely sucks if you have a v6 like I do. Because I think have to take off the intake just to have enough space to get it off

@@AxtuoAx I don't have a ratchet wrench but I managed to get a socket and ratchet on there. Now the problem is just breaking it loose.
Tap it with a hammer, spray some wd40, use a long tube (pause) as leverage
