I think I watched this show dozens of times growing up. I never realized how particular it was in this show until he started saying after the characters in the show said it. But I think it never stood out to me because I adopted it into my own daily use and use it so casually that it doesn't stand out to me lol.
And it’s the late Matthew Perry’s birthday today we should all just take a moment to appreciate the many laughs hew was able to give us miss you Matthew
Hi Oscar! Just wanted to let you know your Friends reaction videos are the reason i’m excited for Mondays eversince I discovered your channel. Thanks for posting and watching with us!
Me too. I love friends and get excited when he posts a new video. I know these don’t do as well as his other ones, but I’m glad and grateful he still continues to post ❤
Ross practicing his lecture is a clip I sometimes share with my students to demonstrate that looking at the audience isn't the same as actually connecting with them 😂
I like to think that Denise was Phoebe's lesbian lover; Phoebe was clearly bisexual, and considering the group's general attitude towards lesbians/gays, it makes sense that Phoebe would keep that part of herself private(ish).
A lot of people complain that Joey got stupider over the seasons, but I think this episode gives an explanation for that: he got dumber thanks to all the times he had his friends hit him in the head, all because he had "free medical coverage." XD
Happy 55th heavenly birthday to Matthew Perry ❤ Ah Denise, the biggest mystery of Friends. Just to remind you though, in "The One in Vegas Part 1" Phoebe talked about walking around naked in her apartment all the time as she lives alone. The scene with Joey and Chandler in the coffeehouse in E4 took about six takes to get right as either Matt or Matthew kept cracking up. There are some hilarious outtakes of that in the S6 bloopers. Fun fact: For some reason she's not credited but Maggie Baird who plays Casting Director #2 (the dog food commerical - "pick up a bag today") is Billie Eilish's mum. When this episode aired, Billie wasn't even born and her brother Finneas, a singer/songwriter who has worked with Billie numerous times, was only 2 years old. And I haven't seen Band of Brothers but I've seen David in a movie called Six Days, Seven Nights with Harrison Ford and Anne Heche. I've also seen him in the miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story where he played Robert Kardashian, the father of the Kardashians and friend of O.J., as well as part of his legal team on the trial for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. David has also directed several movies and TV shows (including episodes of Friends).
When my husband, boyfriend at the time moved in with me we had that “nothing here is mine” moment. I changed our bedding and a few other things so it was ours not mine or his. I made a space for him that was his so I still had my space. Even when you move in you need the Mine, Theirs, and Ours things.
In Friends, the antics never cease, With accents wild and Joey’s hernia piece. Rachel’s timing, a perfect storm, Outrageous fun, the show’s true form. Joey’s health, a sacrifice so grand, For roles and fame, he’d take a stand. David’s humor, a shining light, Secondhand laughs, pure delight. Surprised by David’s hidden flair, In Band of Brothers, he’d be there. Eager for more, the Couch awaits, Next episodes, fun-filled fates. Stay cozy, friends, and join the ride, With laughs and joy, side by side. The Cocoa Couch, with love and cheer, Brings Friends’ magic, always near.
You're correct, David's in Band of Brothers. He was also in the first season of American Crime Story: The People Vs. OJ Simpson, which came out in 2016.
in my honest opinion the people who hate ross take sitcoms too seriously. I love him. I think he’s god damn hilarious. If you take his actions in these episodes too seriously he is an awful human being but it’s like people forget it’s a sitcom in an exaggerated reality. Easily one of the funniest. I mean these characters literally got married in vegas and couldn’t remember this ain’t real life
Hmm, I wonder if the inspiration for little black curly hair came from that episode where Ross had to go rescue the others when they went on the ski trip. Silly Carol, never floss while you eat.
Friends is my favorite TV show and these reactions are the best part of my week. I love your videos, so keep doing what you’re doing.❤ And movie suggestion: Perfect pitch 1,2 and 3 Alvin and the chipmunks 1,2,3 and 4
Yay! Another upload from my favourite reactor😃 Since I discovered your channel almost 3 months ago, I cannot get enough of your energy and vibe when watching new movies/series. Please keep up the good work! For future suggestions: do watch the 2017 DuckTales reboot, as well as The Owl House. I would love to see your reactions to the humour in those shows. Also, Madagascar is such a good movie! David Schwimmer is excellent in that one.
When you eventually get around to the Friends entire series bloopers compilation, this episode has a big series of them involving Joey's hernia at the coffee house. Perry could not keep it together every time LaBlanc started making those grunting sounds pushing the coffee cup toward Chandler. This show's blooper reel is probably the best of any series gaff highlights because of how much the cast love to give each other sh*t for line readings or acting choices. It's truly infectious all around the laughing ones ass off with these, well, Friends of ours, as it were.
I know this is unrelated but you should watch Tag at some point. It’s about a group of adult friends who try to tag each other anywhere in the country/world for one month, and there’s one friend who has never been tagged. Based on a true story too!
I was so looking forward to that movie. Love the cast and the idea. I just remember the first 15-20 minutes being so painfully unfunny and a huge disappointment. Never bothered to finish it.
David guest stars in an episode of an old TV show called NYPD Blue -- I think that's where I saw him first, and it was a dramatic role, so I was really surprised by how funny he could be when I saw him on Friends. He's underestimated, in my opinion. (Also, he made me cry, watching that episode of NYPD Blue.)
Remember it's the US so without health insurance medical treatment is prohibitively expensive. It's not like here in Australia where we have a public health system!
Ross always seems to get the most ridiculous storylines, and David pulls them off so, so well. I feel like the run of episodes after the Emily divorce like the leather pants or the “my sandwich” episodes would never have been possible with so many actors. It’s why Ross has become my favorite character on rewatches.
Love your FRIENDS reactions! Finally Rachel knows that they’re still married lol Quick question, it’s been a while since you reacted to Princess Diaries, are you going to watch the second movie? I would love to see you react to it 🤞🏼
Yess I’m so early! I think you should definitely react to Schitts Creek! It’s a sitcom like friends and it’s so funny.its won multiple Emmy’s and is binge worthy
He needs to do father ted, I recently finished it last week on mine and everyone loved it. I started 2 doors down last night which is hilarious too. Im also doing Not Going Out which is a brilliant comedy but no one else is and it makes no sense! 🤷♂🙄
this will be a BIT too muc, but its how i feel & i havent really been able to say how i feel, anywhere. ive been severely depressed & having other health related issues, that have made me not want to be alive. i am currently fighting the fight, trying to get better. i am praying, doing positive affirmations, listening to music, journaling, working on my projects, explaining to myself daily that i need to be here. even tho i dont believe it at all. i had so many bad news come this week. & this month. my heart is broken. i cant make myself to watch anything, because all i want is to give up. im currently working on posting on youtube again, to hopefully get into the right track of healing & some revenue. its been weeks of darkness. & today sucks. but seeing a notification that you posted a friends reaction made me feel a little bit of peace. i will watch it now. thank you. your content gives me comfort. i appreciate it more than you know.
Hey I really hope that things will get better for you and you realize how much you actually deserve.ive been there too and it's really lonely but I wish you the best!Hope you can find a person to talk to about these things but don't ever think that you don't deserve to be alive okay
If you do plan to see Band of Brothers, I would be VERY excited!!! The funny thing is that my dad watched the Band of Brothers and can’t watch Friends because David was such an imposing character in Band of Brothers that my dad had a hard concept how talented he is as an actor to go from brute to beyond perfect comedy.
I tried watching NYPD Blue recently, and David Schwimmer was in an episode or two. He played a lawyer. I think it was a year or two before Friends started. It was hard to see Friends actors in other roles after the show ended. Jennifer Aniston obviously had the best career. Ranking them in order from there would be Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt Leblanc, and Lisa Kudrow. Schwimmer is clearly at the bottom. Maybe he just chose to lay low.
Sadly, putting your health first in America is pretty much a fable. More and more people are avoiding hospital visits, buying medication seeing doctors here in the states. Good news is natural home-grown herbal medications, reflexology, acupuncture and midwifery is at an all-time high since 1915.
Putting your health first is a personal choice. That's what comes with freedom. You're free to exercise daily, eat a healthy diet, and go to your doctor for a check-up. You're also free to eat crap, smoke and drink all day, and never see a doctor until it's all caught up with you, and now you're diabetic and having a heart attack. Your choice.
@@Karamarika There is a difference between taking care of yourself and 'Acts of Nature and Of Others.' You can be healthy all you want and still get hit by a car, take a fall or in Joey's case, the body saying "nope, not today pal." Having a heart attack and other body failures can hit anyone, not just people that eat bad. And because of costs people are becoming more and more terrified to visit a doctor. People are not scared seeing the doctor, it's the bill they are scared of. And God's forbid they prescribe medication. Then it becomes a battle of "Do I pay the minimum amount on the medical bill, or do I eat this month??" And sometimes that's WITH insurance.
@jessquinn6106 sorry, but that's not happening. The percent of Americans that don't have health insurance is the smallest it has EVER been. Unless you bought cutrate insurance (again, that is your CHOICE), then no one is choosing between medical bills and food. You are thinking like it's 30 years ago. It isn't.
I love that you're hyping up David! Ross's character is not my favorite, my David's portrayal is just so so good, his acting choices are always amazing
I know I'm a week late and idk if you'll ever read this but any chance you could reach to Mrs. Doubtfire in honor of Robin Williams 10th anniversary of his passing? It'll move you to tears ♡ RIP
Let's remember Matthew Perry today on what would've been his 55th birthday. He brought us all so much joy that we'll sadly never get to return 🙏🏻💔
Yeah..Such a legend 🖤 may he rest in peace
actually quite the opposite, we’ll be able to experience that joy as long as we’re able to watch Friends ❤️
Considering that shocking news that we heard all weekend about his death.
Yeah i heared he was murdered😢@@jessquinn6106
@jessquinn6106 yeah, I just read about that - finally they uncovered the truth! So heartbreaking and also makes me angry on Matthew's behalf!!
I love that the "I know!" is a regular thing for both Ross and Monica. Weirdly, always funny.
I think I watched this show dozens of times growing up. I never realized how particular it was in this show until he started saying after the characters in the show said it. But I think it never stood out to me because I adopted it into my own daily use and use it so casually that it doesn't stand out to me lol.

Ross practicing his lecture is a clip I sometimes share with my students to demonstrate that looking at the audience isn't the same as actually connecting with them 😂
As someone who struggles with eye contact i agree for different reasons. Just because I'm NOT looking at them doesn't mean i don't want to connect
70% sure Phoebe killed Denise and the guilt is getting to her
This is now canon in my head
I thought Denise was the name of the woman in the creepy portrait on Phoebe's wall. This is better! 🤣🤣
@@triceyg2014 That’s Gladys!
@@katecassidy9357 Thank you for clearing that up; it sounds like it's time for me to watch it all again.
I like to think that Denise was Phoebe's lesbian lover; Phoebe was clearly bisexual, and considering the group's general attitude towards lesbians/gays, it makes sense that Phoebe would keep that part of herself private(ish).
Joey, with a hand in his pants in front of the young boy "Hey Timmy, I got a surprise for you" is hilarious ! 😂
Does no one else think Denise doesn't exist and Phoebe just made her up in her very Phoebe way?
I definitely thought Phoebe just didn’t want to live with Rachael, and I was waiting for the reason to come out throughout the episode.
oh, totally!
I agree. I think she made her up, and then relented a little later and let Rachel move in.
She made that up because she didn't want to live with Rachael.
I'm a Denise truther. I say she exists, but hasn't been her roommate for very long.
monica’s “haha NO” with the hand gesturing is something i’ve been referencing since i was 7 years old without realising it
A lot of people complain that Joey got stupider over the seasons, but I think this episode gives an explanation for that: he got dumber thanks to all the times he had his friends hit him in the head, all because he had "free medical coverage." XD
Man, today Matthew was supposed to be turning 55th 😢, RIP legend
David is the best. The way he makes Ross so hilarious is priceless. I love him so much!
Ross' accent gets me everytime 😂😂😂

Hey Oscar best part about my Mondays is watching FRIENDS with you 😊
David Schwimmer is in Madagascar. You wouldn't see him but you would hear him 😅
29:15 Ever watch the Madagascar films? Plays the giraffe.
Do protect giraffes, people.
I would recommend watching it on the channel, the movies are fun
I never realise just how much I'm waiting for these until they appear in my feed.
My favourite line is: Oh this is it, this is what's gonna kill me! 🤣🤣🤣
David is such a star! He was great in ''The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story'' too
He's in this great movie coming out soon called "Little Death". You should check it out.
Love him as a director too.
Nah... he was hammy in that
You're correct, David's in Band of Brothers. He was also in the first season of American Crime Story: The People Vs. OJ Simpson, which came out in 2016.
The two accents that Monica and Rachel does was hilarious 😂😂😂

Ross and Chandler are my two favorite characters. I think they're both hilarious!
Ross wanting to "help" is so obvious and hilarious :D
Yes, David's in Band of Brothers. The person he plays is just about as opposite from Ross as you'll find
What makes the scene at 22:15 so good is that what Ross is saying matches with what is happening IN the scene.
Your reactions are so good bro. I'm from Brazil I'm learning English and this show is helping me a lot to improve my English
