    Oh man! Super Metroid is top 3 for me on the SNES! The environments, music and return of Kraid and Ridley was so epic. I get the NFR but a regular copy is worth the $70 easily.

    • @Fortefyre

      Yeah, I think the original release is much more worth it. The only NFR I usually see on a fairly regular basis is Sonic 2.

    i was lucky because a friend of mine bought Earthbound & hated it. Gave it to me for FREE!! i was hooked the moment i played an RPG set in todays date! i remember watching Stranger Things on Netflix for the 1st time & after watching it made me want to play Earthbound again! Moving on to Dracula X, i just recently started playing it. i held a grudge that the graphics didn't hold up better than Castlevania 4. After realizing it's an older version i am just now having fun playing it both on the SNES & TurboGrafx-16.

    The tragedy is that Konami could’ve made Castlevania: Dracula X an identical game to Rondo Of Blood as far as content and level layout goes. They just got lazy and gave Super Nintendo owners a half-assed truncated port. I would’ve preferred a port of Bloodlines to the SNES instead.

    • @UltimateGamerCC
      @UltimateGamerCC 7 днів тому +1

      my guess is they decided to focus on the N64 and only gave us Dracula X to placate us until we'd get CV64, which by comparison is even worse. lol

      True story, I just received my super famicom copy of Dracula X... I can't help but wonder why Konomi didnt spend the time to upgrade it with the IV enhancements. I suspect they knew SNES was at the end of its of life cycle and wanted to squeeze a few more sales out with an existing product and minimal costs.

It is frustrating at times due to intentionally designed unquality of life features but in an endearing way that makes you forgive it. When I saw this video, I was thinking Mega Man X3 would be on it. Copies on eBay are selling for around $300 or higher loose, and a complete copy is up for sale right now for $2,499. Wild guns, ninja gaiden trilogy, evo, I could go on I would say the snes has the library with the most highest priced games that don’t need to be. It’s funnny because most super famicom games that are the same exact game but with a different shell and language are dirt cheap

    Sadly, I don't have my super nintendo.Anymore, but I play a ton of retro games through my switch and PS5. Some of which I even ahem... cough.... cough "own" digitally. 😅😅😅

      You could try a used video game shop, with a little luck you might find a few working SNES in that place, it'd mean used console but if it's working, better than nothing, or a Retron 2 console, but honestly I wouldn't recommend a Retron 2 console...

      Yeah I wouldn't recommend ANY retron products other than their controllers.

      @@Fortefyre Forget it, I had a Retron 2 a few years ago, naturally the controllers were there, but the controllers were pretty mediocre, then I found a bunch of actual SNES controllers they were a lot better....
