Moving on to Dracula X, i just recently started playing it. i held a grudge that the graphics didn't hold up better than Castlevania 4. After realizing it's an older version i am just now having fun playing it both on the SNES & TurboGrafx-16.
The tragedy is that Konami could’ve made Castlevania: Dracula X an identical game to Rondo Of Blood as far as content and level layout goes. They just got lazy and gave Super Nintendo owners a half-assed truncated port. I would’ve preferred a port of Bloodlines to the SNES instead.
True story, I just received my super famicom copy of Dracula X... I can't help but wonder why Konomi didnt spend the time to upgrade it with the IV enhancements. If you're going to play Earthbound Beginnings; you may very well want to go with the GBA version with the English fan translation. The English version provides an Easy Ring that makes the game more forgiving by boosting defense, making encounter rates less ruthless, and speeds up EXP gain.
When I saw this video, I was thinking Mega Man X3 would be on it. Copies on eBay are selling for around $300 or higher loose, and a complete copy is up for sale right now for $2,499. As I understand, its rarity is due to the fact that Capcom wasn’t able to manufacture many of the CX4 chip, which provided many of the enhanced features of the game.
