Probably I should try to start an AI company rather than talk about slashing time and costs. I have been online over an hour today (and it may go to 2 hours) And I may have to make an Hour Drive both ways to pay a bill I should be able to send in by mail. Companies are big and call centers are in the Philippines while the main bank is located in New York City. Do you save money by driving people nuts or is this real savings. I am all for saving time and costs and I respect this means competition. If I force a company to hire a human being then costs have to be raised and then there is the competition so smaller companies may go out of business. I guess anyway. It's just that I don't feel I am getting any "customer service" from some of this automation. I use to work on the telephone by the way ... in sales and such... but I haven't seen work for a long time and mostly switched to other sales work. To me it seems like a good way to stall customer service not provide customer service.

I myself work for a customer care. When customers feel I can't understand their concerns properly they ask if i am a robot. AI can't give emotions.

More motivation for me as someone who works in customer service to start searching elsewhere! 😄
