It will be great if you can compare both vehicle’s driving assistance technologies like adaptive cruise control system and off road capabilities as Toyota kluger hybrid comes as a AWD system. Even though most of the new vehicles comes with all new safety technologies as standard on paper , the quality of performance of these technologies are different in every brands in real world.

Sorento's biggest weakness is the poor ANCAP crash protection rating, worse than most if not all the competitors. Lucky to score 5 star safety rating probably due to all the active "safety tech". Of course having all the active safety tech does not stop an accident happening, at that point you and your passengers have increased risk of being injured/killed compared to the opposition, by buying the Sorento. I note all reviews ignore this aspect of safety and are only interested in reporting box ticking; as demonstrated in this video.
Wtf you talking about? There’s not much of difference for driver and passenger crash safety, 90% vs 82%, and even less of a difference for child occupant, 88% vs 85%. Toyota is only slightly better. How can this be poor crash protection? By your logic, Toyota is not much better than poor. 🙄🤦🏽♀️
@@ncck1211 and it received one of the worst adult occupant protection ratings in the class, indeed, one of the worst in class across all the modern/updated crash test regimes; ANCAP, and the various NCAPs. The American NHTSA gave the Sorento 4 stars overall and 4 stars for frontal crash protection. Disappointing for a new model.
Wanted a Kia - but no vehicles available till mid 2022. At least you can actually get the Kluger ! You also forgot to mention the fuel consumption in light of the fact that the Kluger has the hybrid. Will use a lot less fuel - so reducing the operating cost significantly.
Because Kluger is a klunker, lol. No one wants a fugly SUV still stuck with the 90’s design. Btw, in real word, the Kluger only slightly better in fuel economy as the reviewer indicated.
The only thing the kluger trumps is reliability…. Other wise KIA kills it. Wish they didn’t install DCT , it has problems, which is such a shame the rest of the car is brilliant

Reliability , robust and resale value , you cant beat the Toyota .
anyone could have thought a family SUV is that expensive these days and has to be ordered half year in advance?
Please compare pallisade, kluger and cx9 ad they are bigger 7 seaters , hence more expensive.
Sorento and Santa fe should be pitched against cx8.
Spot on my friend
Yes. The styling of the Kluger is still stuck in 1990s.
Lol, true.
It is seriously ugly
I’m not sure about that whale shark front end… just looks like it wants to suck up krill
But what about the interior presentation?
The interior of both cars are 👌👌
How were you able to get a GX with top racks?
With the kia you'll need that warranty 100 percent !!!!!!!
Wait, the kia relatively match the toyota's hybrid fuel?? So.. it sort of defeat the purpose of having hybrid in the first place no..?
Diesel vehicles have issues with particulate filter in city driving. It blocks and causes issues. Hybrid are a lot more fuel efficient in the city too
@@aminawad5216 right, wait till the battery in hybrid need replacing. Lets compare the price on that. They wont try to fix the battery btw.

Is that Mineral or Gravity blue?
98 octane ULP is 27 cents per litre more expensive than Diesel. The RAV4 only needs 91
Toyota have a strange habit of kicking own goals .... like you say Rav 4 91ron but Camry with the same motor mandates 95ron.
