- Hey so I wanted to make a slightly different video whilst I am in the middle of production for my documentary and take some time speaking on Rachel Lamberts 2024 film Sometimes I Think About Dying” a highly underrated film that I love dearly, I want to make more videos like this as I enjoy speaking about film and want to use this platform as a way of pushing other films onto people watching. This is lowkey kinda scary for me so please don’t hate it too much, hopefully more to come soon !

I've actually seen the short movie back in 2020 and ever since I've heard that they were making it into a feature length film I was really excited. Suffice to say, I was not disappointed when I finally got to watch it at Sundance last year January. I'm glad someone made a video about it and I hope more people get to watch this movie.
Haven't seen the short film yet but it's been on my list since I first saw feature, I hope now that it's out in the UK more people will be seeing and talking about it
I’ve been waiting for someone to talk about this movie! I loved it, I think it captures the monotony of depression and suicidal ideation in a way that is often overlooked for more in your face “look at how sad I am” vibes. I also really like how they showed how hard it is to care for someone and be cared for when you’re in the depths of it. Thanks for talking about it!
Completely agree! I think this film does a better job showcasing mental illness to it's truest form thanmost mainstream films that rather make it fantasised and quirky. glad you enjoyed the video
Completely agree, watched it again last night and realised just how deeply it goes with the view of loving someone that is not in the mindset of loving back, glad you liked the video !

@@Ulexcool Nah, I was just thoroughly impressed with the video (cuts, memes, humour and insight) and surprised to see he only had 221 subscribers. I watch several bigger moview reviwers (Critical Drinker, Movie Cynic, I Hate Everything) and thought this guy has similar vibes but it's nice to see someone talk about a movie they enjoy as opposed to ripping apart Disney + Hollywood (rightfully so), which is what most of those other guys I mentioned do.

What makes you so certain she's not? Have you watched her in anything outside of Star Wars?
I remember everyone throwing a fit when Robert Pattinson was cast as Batman because of how bad an actor they thought he was. All they knew was the sparkly vampire and hadn't seen his indie work in films like Good Time and The Lighthouse.

You gotta give the movie a watch, Daisy really is an amazing actor. Sometimes you gotta know the difference between bad acting and a bad script (ie Star Wars).
