UNIQUE ENGINES IN UNLIKELY CARS | JUNKYARD REVIEW 2

- This ep of junkyard reviews is full of unique variants of what are very common 4x4's. It seemed every time we turned around there was another cool car with a unique engine under the bonnet.
To the outright slow and underpowered dinosaur diesel Toyotas, to modern jeeps with Hemi power, the yard was full of cool stuff. To finish off the ep we stumble across what is an extreme case of neglect and gives a clear reminder why you change your oil on time!

Awesome Ep guys, Love my old 80 1HZ N/a, being 60 soon it's the tortoise thing for me. Haha
Cheers Craig. 👍🏼
@@smarttouringsystems-garage Sorry for late reply I thought the 60 series 2h and 12HT tow rating was 2,5 ton. could be wrong but.
Yeah mate that seems to be the go, I’ve been talking to an engineer about the engine conversion and he seems to think 2.5t too. 👍🏼
Just knew where this is going, show all the old super unpowered Toyota's and are they great. Then you get to the Jeep Grand Cherokee and of course it's the most unrealiable car ever, freaking over all these Toyota sheep.
I've had 2 and by far the best cars ever had. The 4 Toyota's and the one I have now, the gears box is shot and the others I've had needed lots of repairs compared to my Jeeps.
Sorry if I hurt your feelings mate, not the intended purpose. I have close friends that are mechanics and I value their opinion, which is to never buy a jeep. At the end of the day a car is just a piece of equipment. I myself am very aware of the shortcomings of the 79 series that I own and will happily point them out.
Back yourself get the HEMI for the 60..
Never late in a V8
The 1HZ is due a lot more credit than you give it .
Yeah it’s still the engine of choice for underground mine vehicles, big companies like BHP & Rio direct import Africa spec 70 series when they can. I ran into the outback postie who bought my HZJ79 and thats done 1.2 million Kay’s now 😉
Was that engine at the end a 1kd?
Really not sure mate. Thought about that as I drove out.
So you say it's whats around them please tell us what that is. The question I would like to ask, how many have you actually owned?
I have never owned any, and I'm glad you have had a good experience with them.
