I was at Paul's Rhythm Grill at the Rendezvous Tavern in 1992 or 3 I believe, and saw a band called the Sheiks of R&B. Could you tell me who was in that group? I tell people about it all the time. Those guys were shakin!

Hi! It would have been the summer of 1991. Depending on the night, the core of the group you saw might have been Renell Gonsalves on drums, John Barron on bass, Vic Bortolon on guitar, Robert Reeves on sax, maybe Jackson Drobko on trombone... There were a number of different rotating players who were part of that group.
