This is the father of Daniel Victor, from Neverending White Lights. A family full of talent!
I’m the kid carrying the chairs and riding in the car with my brother. Wow this brings back memories!
Nice video !
🫶🙏❤️
Truly a giant in jazz It looks like Jim Ryan is playing drums with her.Not sure of the musicians. Also her husband buddy is a fantastic pianist
Kent McMillan on drums here.
Stumbled onto this a WHAT A HOOT! I worked thru the '70's at a business on Howard. Next door was a music store...and I would hang out over there on a break. It was Jack Genaro's. He was quite the established lounge singer at the time..
Before the brown hordes came. Let’s retake our country
Nice to see the old buildings along Ouellette Ave, such as the F W Woolworth and the Vanity Theatre brought back wonderful memories.. Thanks for posting.
wow how did this part of windsor become for crackheads now, so sad
We as Royalty of Canada grew up in Windsor as kids then moved to Toronto Our Royal Land when We were 8 years old in 1977. I have fond memories of Windsor. I grew up on Curry Avenue and went to Glenwood PS. I put in the Hiram Walker Distillery with God and the Green Giant Packing Plant. There was a good 30 years or more of Workers in Windsor. Everything is Created by God and Spirits FYI. My dad Murray Helferty was the Weatherman on CBC Radio out of the Windsor Airport. He became Sr. Scientist for Environment Canada in Toronto in 1977. I became a Government Staff Biologist on occasion as well as the Hollywood Royal as Entertainer with God. Natalie Helferty The Holy Grail of Christ's Second Coming. We are going to have a New World Order of Christ's Making in 2024. It will be even better with Nature back as Tallgrass Prairies and Forest and Wetlands and Lakes in SW Ontario. It was an Evil Spirit of Elizabeth II that desertified the landscape around Windsor in 1955 when she came in to Usurp. Queen Charlotte and King George of Canada had to deal with her then. I am the next generation of 2000 growing up back in time from 1968 onward. Queen Natalie and King Logan growing up in Windsor as kids.
This commenter is nuts.
Yes Natalie is nuts or stoned on a 6 pac.
@@MDavidG1-Poor Natalie, the mental institutions have closed down, but she can use medication & get off the Waterloo Amber 6-pac's.
@@MDavidG1- Poor sweet Natalie,but there's medication & cutting down on the 6-pac's.
@@MDavidG1- Poor sweet Natalie, is having a bad posting day & should stick to one glass of wine,eh! Yes,Windsor is a good city to live in, despite at times,it's poor air quality & humidity.
When we had pride as a city.
Life was so much easier then! I was 13 years old when this was aired on TV. Thank you for sharing!

1:34 let’s the games start
I cant believe i dont found nothing on web from her and also on yotube nothing from her.... Anybody som songs or album from her ?
She passed away tragically many years ago in Los Angeles.
@@kmc201 thanks for info friend
Mister Robert Low what a fantastic guitar player. I never heard his name…i love his playing!! I’am a big fan off Mister Wes Montgomery they call him Master Thumb Player. But Mister Robert Low is good thumb player!!! Rest in Eternal Peace🌹 R.P.💛
Waoh, Robert Lowe is amazing! I didn't know him, but for sure I'm going to look for his albums. His way of playing the melody is also very original. How come the guy is not famous? I mean, maybe he was kind of famous, but certainly not george-benson-famous...
Crazy fingers! Bravo!
Wow. Love finding this on UA-cam! Like a couple others here, I took lessons from George during a stint at Wayne State back in the 80s. But I never got a chance to actually hear him play with a combo or band, just in his role as an instructor playing bits and pieces by way of illustration. Hearing this video many years later is a real treat.
Swinging! Always loved playing with Tom & Kent.
Jack was a monster on the vibes. So glad I had the opportunity to see him perform, multiple times. Thanks for the upload of this performance.
I was at Paul's Rhythm Grill at the Rendezvous Tavern in 1992 or 3 I believe, and saw a band called the Sheiks of R&B. Could you tell me who was in that group? I tell people about it all the time. Those guys were shakin! .
Hi! It would have been the summer of 1991. Depending on the night, the core of the group you saw might have been Renell Gonsalves on drums, John Barron on bass, Vic Bortolon on guitar, Robert Reeves on sax, maybe Jackson Drobko on trombone... There were a number of different rotating players who were part of that group.
@@tomborshukmusic2620 1991, yes, great thanks for your kind reply.
Sounds great. Dizzy Gillespie would of loved this version.
LEGENDS DONT NEED A PLACTRUM
Just discovered this today. Nice! Didnt know he was part of the original australian jazz quartet with bryce rhode!
Think Wes would’ve enjoyed listening to that!, brilliant playing from Robert Lowe
terrific
Wonderful!!!!
Nice to be able to see and hear you Tommy. Wish we hadn't drifted so from when I was a kid. I've never forgotten you Cuz. Be at peace.
Fire!
Incredible how he managed to play like that with just his thumb
He does use his index finger quite a bit. Regardless, amazing.
Where have I been? I grew up in Detroit and never heard of Rob Lowe.
George "Sax" Benson, yea!!! He and Buck Hlll of DC both held down jobs as US postal carriers when not gigging on their horns ;-)
hi im robert lowes grandaughter from my moms side her name is val smith and we have his gutiar right now! we alos have alot of his records he teached my older sister piano when i was young and died of a heart attack..
I’m so sorry to hear about Mr. Lowe’s death. I just found out about this a few days ago. I used to watch him on BET Jazz, and really loved his style of playing the guitar. I’m extremely shocked and in a Melancholy Mood after finding out he passed. He was an Amazing Guitarist!!!!!!!
@@Emanual0607 im happy to ear that i didnt know much about him really
