I ought to mention, in case no one has already, if you want to know what was happening during the making of St. Anger, you NEED to watch the documentary Some Kind Of Monster. It really shows the troubles that the band were going through at the time. If you think about it, St. Anger NEEDED to happen or Metallica would have disbanded 20 years ago. P.S. I'm not shitting on your opinion whatsoever, we can all like what we want to!
St. Anger takes a lot of flack. It has some solid riffs on it though, if Kirk had thrown some solos in there and Lars hadn't used a trash can lid for a snare drum it would've aged much nicer.
Yo Weaboo if you're interested there are totally remastered versions of St Anger done by Metallica fans on UA-cam. I found myself actually really enjoying those versions, give them a shot
i love the abridged fanedit version of st. anger. the original songs are way too long and repetitive imo. the shorter versions feel more like the southern punk they're going for.
Hello, my friend, I'm from China. Please make a reaction to a Chinese rock song mixed with rap that tops the music charts in China. The song was released 7 days ago here is the title of the song: "邱鋒澤FENG ZE, 婁峻碩SHOU《, ABYSS)"
St Anger came out and the production sounded like shit. I can't remember which, but in my car stereo I had to crank up the treble or bass all the way to even stand hearing the production better. And the music still sounded bad. Zeit, pronounced "ts eye teh" is a great album. Z in German is pronounced like ts in tsunami. Ei is pronounced like eye. And a hard t sound at the end. It actually sounds close to sight or site or cite, but more of a tsunami beginning. That album is great! You should check out more of their albums. They have so many great songs and albums. I can't wait to see them in concert in a couple weeks.
You need to be re-reviewing an actual good album from Metallica like Hardwired to Self Destruct that you didn’t like back in the day. One of its best songs is the instrumental Suicide & Redemption, which you shit all over. I could tell you were having a bad day and would have disliked anything put in front of you that day.
I actually liked Hardwired to Self Destruct. Suicide and Redemption is from Death Magnetic which I still don't like. Has nothing to do with my day lmao
It's ok not to like Death Magnetic: it definitely has some really kickass songs but it has a mastering issue that makes it sound kinda loud and broken, James Hetfield vocals are shouty and embarrassing at times and Kirk' solos are all over the place and random Wah Wah shit. I personally totally love tracks like The End of the Line or Broken Beat and Scared, but I see why someone wouldn't like the album.
You’re exactly right-OK Computer is a got dam masterpiece. 10/10
OK Computer and Close to the Edge are my two favorite albums of all time. Spot on.
Peace from SF
I am *really* interested in what your current top 15 list is. Also, interested in your album reviews for sure!
Watch the documentary Some Kind of Monster. You'll see what was going on in the Studio when they recorded St. Anger.
Ok computer is wild !!!
LOVE IT
OK Computer is so good.
What are you talking about St. Anger snare is the best thing ever 😆

The lyrics are terrible too. You can remaster with all the issues addressed and it would still be putting lipstick on a pitbull.

OK Weaboo ... hard to say OK Computer sucks!
OK is the last great album of the 90s.

Album was a disgrace to Metallica. They took a big 💩. I only listened to that album twice that was it for me. Shelved forever. 🤘🏻✌🏻
Oh you went and actually washed your face and kinda cleaned your glasses for the video?

@@weabooreacts9853 I meant to say Death Magnetic, not Hardwired to Self Destruct. My bad. Do it again. You weren’t feeling it in the stream.

@@blackmamba5659 of course it’s ok not to like it. I would like him to give it another try though.
