Looooove this pumpkin! But your stems make these projects stand out! The best....❤️❤️❤️
Rotary cutter and a ruler makes cutting that super easy and quick!
So darling! I used my ruler to put down a strip of painters tape, then cut along the tape line when trying to cut the sweaters!
OH MY GOSH I LOVE THESE SWEATER PUMPKINS MAKING THESE FOR SURE ..

Beautiful pumpkins. That stem is awesome.
God bless you!
Love the larger version the others really complement this one and makes for a great centerpiece plus I really love the sweater pumpkins
Awesome!! So much quicker than crocheting pumpkins!!
Thank you for your videos!! I’m not a crafty person; I’m actually kind of a klutz. I had my gallbladder removed and needed to keep occupied and still while I healed. I’m also hosting Thanksgiving this year and would only decorate my tables. Your sweater pumpkins series lit a fire in me. My difficulty was pretty much the stems until my hubby bought me a thicker wire. I wanted to show you though my favorite stem. I rolled up the bottom hem of the sweater and it just looks so cute!!! Thank you again!!!
The stuffing has got to go
@@nonchris7874 I love the stuffing. The beans give it weight and movement.
I could not figure out what you were going to do with that stem until the very end...CUTE!!! It's cool how you've used the whole sweater now.😊
Love all of the sweater pumpkins you ve made, instruction #1 is way easier and save lots of time which I m grateful to have 3 sweater pumpkins in 3 varieties topping. Tyfs!!
Thanks so much for watching Bernadette! When the next video in the series is uploaded, you will see why I made so many different ones. :) Im so happy you are enjoying them! Happy DIY~ing!

I love your kitty and your diys!
Loved this video...have two little granddaughters that enjoy crafting as much as I do!! Can't wait to make our own!!
Love these! I have made fabric pumpkins and used small pieces of a tree branch for the stem. Leave them plain, cover with burlap or spray with glue and add glitter!
Thank you!! Thats an awesome idea!!
I love this... I will be going to Goodwil and finding me some old sweaters. I think the stuffing was a great idea from the used pillow as well. It's amazing what you can do with recycling old things.
Karen Reeves I found a really great one at Goodwill for this.
Ann Pierson I went today and found the most awesome sweater! I’m excited to make the pumpkins. Got 4 at Dollar Tree!
Absolutely adorable! ❤️❤️❤️
A rotary (quilting) fabric cutter might make it easier to remove the bottom part. Love your sweater pumpkins. So sweet. Thanks

DT foam beads that go in slime might work, too. With weight in the bottom of course. Maybe those white marble chips left in the mesh or plastic bag?
Ty for your videos, I love your stuff! Very very talented! I going to make this and the others.🙂
Love this pumpkin 🙌❤️🙌❤️
Thank you so much Maria!!
Love the look!!!👍

Hi I’m new to your channel & I’m in love. Your crafts came just in time. I’m a recent empty nester & redoing things in my home can’t wait to go thrifting & to the dollar store I’m so excited. Thank u for so much inspiration 🥰
I am inspired! I’ve got to go dig out an old sweater and make some of these! Thank you for the great tutorials! 😃
You're very welcome Lisa! Happy DIY~ing!
Awesome pumpkins. I was thinking about crocheting a chain out of the small jute rope for looping too. Gotta try that. Great video, Thank you
Gathering stitch it is called as well😷😇🕊⚘🦋🐦🌳🌲🧱💌👮♂️🌈📱🕯🦀🌎🦅🇺🇸☯️✝️🔯🧶🧵✂️📏📍🎃sewer lots soft sculptures quilts home decore few garments cloth books holiday ornaments l try rope wirestems if not real pumpkin stems, sticks bunch glued stems
Great sweater fun.🤗
Gorgeous !
Love these! If you use the cotton yarn that you use for dishcloths, you wouldn't have to worry about breakage or doubling it through the needle.
That is so cute!!
Thank you Selina!! I try hard to not do what everyone else is doing....sometimes its a hit and sometimes its a miss lol! Thanks for watching
So beautiful and your personality is beautiful to match! New subscriber. 💜
There was a woman and her daughter who bought 126 pumpkins from the dollar store and than of course a ton of leaves and sweaters. I found out they are making them for biggest lower income thanksgiving dinner as part of their table scapes. I thought you’d like knowing that. I’m going to call the director and see if they need help.
Also, can you add a written materials list to your actual video? Thank you 😊
Awe that makes me so happy!! I wish I was near them so I could help! I will definitely start adding a materials list for yall. My channel just exploded so fast I wasnt sure what all I should be doing lol!
hey from Alabama.. I loved this . had to come back to remember what how and where... lol
I would Have put sand or maybe small gravels
In The pumpkin for weight... the beans will attract bugs ... and they will make the beans turn into “dust”...!!! But that’s a cute pumpkin .. I’m about to start making some .. I bought several sweaters at the thrift store ...!!!
Great job on the pumpkin diy's. This is my second time watching you. I'm new to your channel. And I Love your videos. Can't wait to see more. I'm Teresa from Tenn. Have a Blessed day.
Hey Teresa! So glad to meet you!!! And thanks so much for supporting my channel. Im brand new to UA-cam and I appreciate your support very much! Happy DIY~ing!
Love these!!
Love the tutorial, I will be headed to the thrift store and I hope you’ve gifted yourself a rotary cutter
I’m subscribing after this one!
So cute 😍
This is so cute. Why do younneed both the beans and pillow stuffing?
I love it!
Love it!
It's also called a running stitch. A running stitch is used to baste.
Loveeeeee it!
Love it
I just found your channel and I love it. I’ll have to make a trip to thrift store now. A rotary cutter would zip right threw the material. Have you tried a sweatshirt with this, I have lots of them on hand. Thanks for all your ideas.
You could put a couple of pumpkin spice tartes, cinnamon stix OR oils for scent
I love this, but am concerned about the beans. Will they keep indefinitely like this or will they eventually mildew or deteriorate & if so how long will the beans remain hard as originally placed in the pumpkin???
I see two years later this question hasn’t been answered. 🤷🏻♀️
Would t it draw bugs, ants, etc.?
If concerned about the beans you might try the glass beads from dollar tree.
You would love a rotary cutter girl!!!
I love all of your pumpkins and hope to give all of them a try. How did you secure this pumpkins stem? Or didn’t you? I’d be afraid it would fall off the shelf and it would all fall apart.
Thanks Jennifer! I actually just let the wire secure it, and you will see why in Video #4 that Im hoping uploads tonight. If you would feel better, you can totally secure it with a little dot of hot glue though :)
Loving these sweater pumpkins...one question..do you have to worry about Weevils in the beans over time? I know you can freeze beans and rice to kill larvae eggs etc for weevils, but if put in freezer for 4 days or more prior to using them in a craft project, do we have to worry about them down the road so to speak?
Love it.
Wish I could show you mine love yours enjoyed the video
Do you have the link for project you did with the very top of sweater ? You rock btw
Love this.. Do you have any idea what the dimension were of the piece you cut for the large pumpkin?
Lov this pumpkin what size rope did u use so I can order from Amazon thanks for the instructions from IN.
but your pumpkins loook amazing!! thank you for teaching us!
LOL it does look a little nasty doesnt it! But it worked great! ;)
I prefer the metal needles. I tend to break plastic
Loved
I used odd socks to fill my pumpkins. 😂
OMG Great idea Leah!!! I've got a whole basket load of them!
Precious!
Súper hermoso ❤️❤️❤️
I'm a quilter...a rotary cutter would have made cutting the bottom off the sweater so much easier!
OMGOSH! I am in love with this!!! I have to do one today!!! ❤️🤎🧡💜
I wish I knew where to buy that colored poly-fil stuffing. I crochet pumpkins and the white poly-fil often shows through. Does anyone know where to purchase the colored fiber-fill?
