I took a burgundy crushed velvet drape and cut it up for pumpkins. I added some old jewelry around the top for embellishments. Cinnamon sticks will work, too. The sky's the limit really. I'm really tempted to run to Goodwill to look for lacy fabrics to use for DIY's.
OH MY GOODNESS I AM LOVE WITH THESE PUMPKINS and will make them...my mom makes these with gourds that she grows on the farm,,,I cant wait to show her,,,no tea towels are safe.....lol...Lisa thank you so much for sharing
I've been pretty obsessed with making pumpkins the last two years. I found a gorgeous blouse at the thrift store and made two. I'm still looking for a better topper. So far I've just stacked them and put a separate smaller pumpkin on top. I still want to try a sweater pumpkin! Thanks for showing all of these beauties!
I love the blue and white grouping. So pretty and the way you gathered the top with needle and thread was genius. I learn something new from you with every video. Thanks Lisa
Lisa I really wish I would have seen your video a few days ago. Because I just bought a lot of material because I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to make fabric pumpkins. So,now I do thank you for all your inspiration.
Very creative! I used blue scraps from a day dress that was too long. I crocheted some and I also found a pink little velvet pumpkin at Family Dollar. Thanks for all your ideas! 🤗
It’s hard to pick just one, loved them all but I think the gray dish towel and green tshirt pumpkins were my favorite. Never, in a million years would I have thought to use some of these items to make pumpkins but they all turned out great!
Loved all of them. We never got the blue and white items at my DT. I did find the last blue and white oven mitt at one DT. I like using the berry wire and twist it around a pencil to make tendrils around the stem. I’ve also covered pumpkins with the gray and white baby blankets.
I use my bags for stuffing pumpkins too! I also get quilting quarters from WM to make mine. There are so many coordinated colors and designs. I made them for my ceremony- 20 year anniversary- in autumn since my hubby’s favorite color was orange and coordinated well with aqua( my fave). I love the fall and all the pumpkins!
Loving all of them 😍😍😍 I'm more of the person less is more so I pretty much I would just add a natural piece of wood from my back yard or the actual pumpkin stem that already came with the pumpkin if it was nice enough.
Oh my goodness I just love this video! Especially the fact you don't have to run out and buy stuff immediately! The fringe pumpkin is just gorgeous! You are so talented! Thank you again for sharing!!!!!
These are gorgeous Lisa I love everyone of them my favorite is probably the green one and now I wish I would’ve bought a green rug but I have a gray one so that will work as well beautiful projects and great ideas for all of the things that we can use that aren’t all fall items🤗🍁🍂🌾🌻
The tiny one, you short sheeted, could you use the trimmed piece and stuff it in the stem-hole, like a thumb measure deep and glue the bigger piece of clothe in place around it. They’re all beautiful
