Very late response, but Australia didn't stop the sale of coal to China. Rather, China threw a temper tantrum when the Australian government *dared* to say that China should allow a serious scientific investigation into the true origins of the COVID-19 virus. Since Xi and the CCP want the world to believe that the virus didn't _really_ jump the species barrier in China - and virtually nobody in China died from it - this was taken as a huge insult to China and there was a shadow ban of several imports from Australia.
That is a 400% price increase, not 500% ;-)
Great educational video. Thanks for posting. Question - why has Australia stopped selling coal to China (or China stopped buying coal from Australia)?
