  • Now then, thanks for tuning in! Yes, this is my take on the Boss Tone Bender. I missed out on the pre-release and the flipped prices will just be insane so I decided to make one!
Using C1016 transistors from Micro Electronics, Alpha pots, Nuetrik jacks and other quality components. I also fitted a standard 3PDT foot switch under the Boss stomp for true bypass.
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it and don't forget to give us a like and a cheeky sub. Cheers.

Hey folks, hope you liked this one? I do! Its probably my favourite pedal I've built!

It sounds pretty fkn good to be honest. It's got shytloads of sustain and whilst being pretty distorted it still maintains a respectable sound.

It would be nice to have a blend control like some of those electro harmonix pedals.
I'm going to soon start experimenting with making my own pedals and I want to get my head around how those blend controls work. It's cool to be able to have a mix of pre pedal sound mixed with effect sound.

That sounds freakin awesome! What components did you have to swap to get the silicon trannies to work properly?

Just ensure power is correct, transistor orientation and elecy caps etc. But plenty of schematics online to work with.

@@thebassguitarshow A custom home made pedal is the real deal ffs. 😛
It's not been made in a factory, it's been made by a long hair with a beard (like me but my hair is probably a lot longer and my beard is fkn very very long and very full and with a very furry looking face LOL). Home made pedals are where it's at. Factory pedals are good but they are mass produced and not custom made one offs.
