- This is my cb900f supersport, a true milestone in motorcycle engineering. Those kinda peaks in engineering that never come again, maybe it means something, maybe not. But in the long run no words can describe how this 36 year old bike runs and looks. Only people with the right kind of eyes can look at this bike and know what it is, and the Beauty of it... I had that same motorcycle, When l worked at the university of Miami, ln the 80's.
Had a poster of the silver with blue decals as a teen. Now I have a 1982 model I am restoring in that exact colorway. These bikes were always special, yet I can hardly find any videos on them. Wonder why that is
Bought this exact bike new in 82. Kept it until 1990 when i purchased a 1985 gold wing.
Nice, not messed about with too much, like to see them as original as possible.
My Brother first bike was a 1979 CB750F, I cut my teeth on bikes in the 80's...the good old days!
It was a nice bike, I had kerker installed and minuki carb.
I have one just like it brother and I love mine!
Picked one up last year that had been partially Cafe, kinda bummed it was but its shaped up into a fun bike to ride and screams . Down this Winter to get the paint done. Your bike is beautiful and sound good.
just drop dead gorgeous! Love my 74 CB550FourKO but man i love the early 80s Hondas. Theres an 82 blue/chrome Nighthawk 650 on BAT id like to score for the wifey..
Had an '83 nighthawk 650 back in '06. They are very decent running bikes. You won't be disappointed with it.👍🏍

Beautiful, 100% Japanese one of the best Honda models ever, carburators and air cooling that's the way a naked motorcycle should be, not the ugliness that we need to suffer in todays days.

Your bike is so nice.
I just picked up one of these last night. I need to find the stock headlight and signals after I remove the "Windjammer" that was installed. I hope it runs, it's not in as nice condition as this one but it's fairly clean. I'm still trying to figure out how with all the paperwork and complete bike, I got the bike for free. 👍
James Glenn That is really tough man, these bike are a forgotten legends. Take your time fixing it up, make a video on it!

@@jamesglenn2006 got yourself a follower. hope you still have the bike. just picked my 82 900F up last weekend. havent been able to dig into her much but cylinder 2 is dropping out on idle. seems like a spark issue. likely cable, boot or plug.

This looks almost exactly like one that just sold on BAT. Down to the VH system lol

I would really like to know about the spark units on this bike because i'm having a problem with that issue on my 900F.
I’ve never had any spark unit trouble, I know unit is hiding behind the throttle side - side cover. My knowledge on this is very limited, but I would be glad to email you.

Put a Dyna 2000 or even an Dyna S ignition on it and put the OEM ignition on a shelf.
