Outstanding set of instructional videos. I’ve been considering this swap since I had my motor rebuilt 6 months ago. It hasn’t run well since. The guy who built the motor isn’t a fan of FI and thinks it may be the reason. I haven’t found anyone that knows how to diagnose FI systems in these cars so that leads me to your videos. They have convinced me to make the switch. I still have the original dual relay so your set up was a bit confusing for me. I’ll cross that bridge later. One more thing - what did you do with the return fuel line? Also, could you do one more video showing how you tuned the carb, timing, etc? Thanks again
@@johnharrington4963 i had to fiddler with the carb for a while to get it right. I will do a video on that (now that I have a better idea of how to adjust it) I was able to just run with the previous timing. Although it would be a good idea to go over that too
@johnharrington4963 yeah, i did not replace my exhaust. The kit comes with risers. But I chose not to install them. We will see if that turns out to be a bad idea. I will do a follow up video on that topic, if it becomes an issue.

What did you do with the return fuel line?
@johnharrington4963 I left it in place with the fuel pressure control acting as a vent cap to keep from any vapor, or leakage from the tank
One other question - Jbugs recommends replacing the exhaust with one from a 1973 or earlier that has heat risers. Did you keep the original exhaust?

What did you set your ignition timing to after the conversion?
