Rescued a baby mocking bird once that fell out from its nest. Placed it back but the mother refused to care for it. So before it starved, I took the baby bird in, nursed it and fed it until I knew it could fly on its own. Took it to a wooded area about a quarter mile away and let it fly off but next day he was back in my backyard and there he remained for almost thirty years. His female mate would fly south in October and return in mid February and it was always a sight to see them reunited. Sadly, this is the first winter that he's not shown itself around my backyard. Perhaps I'll see him again someday somewhere yonder.
Years ago a bird started living on my father's porch. After a while my father had the bird standing right on his finger.
Why do people love some birds but eat others.
Thank you for your kindness.
It was a bluejay.
@Destiny Well the mama and and the daddy never came back to feed it. The nest was only 6 feet high from the ground in thorny bush.
Very good imagination of the person who wrote this story. Very entertaining 👍👍
Never seen birds fly 300 knots, just saying.
@clarerobertson4427 whose?
Wow! Even the birds that are not of the feather have learned to fly together! Bird brains rejoice! 😅

Birds are the best. Cuckoos are ingenious, but not too nice to wrens. But all animals minus rats and mice and other pests are nicer than 99% of people.
Fastest and highest flying birds ever, flying circles around the wing of a plane at 35,000 ft@600 mph. That is truly unbelievable. 🙄

That's the unity of the birds that people must also follow. If they haven't heard the sounds of the exotic birds inside the plane, maybe they already knew that their fellow birds were in danger since that person/s got the birds from the forest where those birds came from.
mindless follow the leader I think there's ample evidence of that in human history
Is this story even true?
You realize, do you not, this is not a true story except that it is a story and it was told but not fact.
Not a true story, a good story, but not true. Anyway, the birds in the telling were not moving and were sedated (no noise)
Birds kill there own babies if they don’t eat enough😊
Obviously a made up story. I am irritated that I kept watching. Birds are highly intelligent, but this is not credible behavior. gah
Maybe the birds think the airplane is their mother.
Why are you showing a black man as a suspect? The video didn’t say the suspect was a black man.

OMG 😱Wow Smart Birds Trying Too Save Them Something In The Plan Might BeSo
Sad Poor Birds Good That The Find Out

I'm glad the Smuggled Birds are alive.
My parents were eating breakfast, a big picture window in front of table. A bunch of different breeds of birds were flying above the garden, they were all making there own calls, they started to attack a snake, they tore it to pieces, we lived in the woods, our yard had bird nest, in our trees, with eggs and chicks. I told my parents that these birds must be able to speak other bird languages to understand about this snake. And to kill it. This was in Eastern Oklahoma, close to Arkansas. At least 4 different breeds. My parents also had bird feeders.
NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE the intelligence of our furry, feathery & scaly friends. These birds heard the distressed cries of their distant relatives & reacted in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AS IF IT WERE THEIR OWN CHICKS!
Do you believe the story? Who took the pictures/video up the skies?
One bird thinks the plane is sexy and suddenly the fan club is created.
How is it, then, that it was only the birds who heard chirping from inside the hold when they were outside the plane? The noise of the engines would have made it impossible. Nice thought, but this is fiction.

farce
It's only make believe.
Wow this is an absolute ausome story. We should start training sniffer birds to catch all these damn pouchers and smugglers
I have only one question, who made the video of the birds attacking the plane.
They didn't attack the plane. Whoever made this film did use footage of birds flying, but they were short clips. Some were shorts of birds flying near airplanes but none actually attacked. It was as close as the storytellers could get to visual footage.
@@labelledamedumanor4876 Thank you for clarifying this. 👍
So out of all the flights with exotic birds, this is the first time that other birds took notice?
Why is a person of color depicted as soon as a "villain" is being discussed? Also- I don't think this would have been a jetliner. Birds can't fly at 600 miles per hour, and it's doubtful they would have been able to hear other birds inside the plane over the engine noise, not to mention that jet airliners' interiors are pressurized, insulated and soundproofed.
Icy 9 Snowlake .It was the black guy, who had just come out of prison. He put everyone at risk of crashing and dying. He was smuggling exotic birds and the clever non exotic birds found it out. Jason the pilot and the passengers were relieved when they found that out. Wow what a dog whistle
@@giftchiposipho8967 I heard no mention that the smuggler was black, in the narration. They only seemed to indicate that he was by depicting random "bad" looking black guys. Who's dog is being whistled at, here? and besides, like I said- the type of airplane wasn't really identified. It couldn't have been a modern jet airliner as was being depicted. The visuals in this story are all made from stock footage, and the time and place of this incident aren't really identified, either. It all sounds more like an episode from a 1950's TV show, really.
@@ice9snowflake187 .If there were no visuals we could have interpreted it in another way, but the moment he associates black people with the crimes at stake, it takes a whole different meaning. The dogs that are used to that certain type of whistle know what that whistle means.
The other thing, that matters is that a UA-cam video 📷 must be 10 minutes long.
Oh what unity among bird community...man must really learn a lesson from this...and kudos to Jason for keeping his cool till the end.
Maybe a TLDR? 😂

His life was saved bh this beautiful animal.

The doctor said if it had been another 20 minutes she would’ve died. The pig just was out in the road trying to get attention. What a wonderful story! And look how smart that dog was! I love these stories thank you for sharing!! One more thing about the pig. He would go back to the cabin to check on her to make sure she was still alive, then he would run back out to the road to try to get help!! I love them all so much❤️

You know guys, the fastest speed for a bird maxes out at about 240mph and that’s one of a type of falcon when it’s on a dive to capture prey.

So birds outside the plane could hear the squawking of birds in a suitcase , (who would've suffocated within minutes) above the roar of engines miles away, yet no one on the plane heard them. Riiiight.

I knew it was something like that. I was walking my cat one day when she noticed a fallen hedge and went to investigate. A small young starling flew from the hedge and she chased it across the road. It landed on a cars wing mirror but she couldn't see it. She was sniffing around the car when suddenly dozens of adult starlings made a v formation and swooped down on her. She fled with the formation chasing her off. Amazing.
I was in my back yard one day with my cat. He was just walking along when a flock of big black birds dived at him. It must have been about 10 birds. I picked him up and we went in the house. This cat was responsible for killing several birds when he was out at night. Perhaps the birds all knew about it. I don't know. (This is a true story!)

Yes this story is complete nonsense
I've most often heard of aircraft striking birds when the aircraft were flying low such as during take-offs and landings, but as the aircraft gains speed (never heard of a bird able to fly as fast as a jet) and altitude, how did the birds keep up? This doesn't make sense. Also, how many exotic birds were being transported? Couldn't be more than a few. An explanation of how birds external of the aircraft in the proximity of so much jet engine noise could hear a few birds inside the cargo hold screeching their heads off would be useful, too. I wish Paul Harvey were here so I could learn the rest of the story.
Good points.
