I love how this is both A.B.A and Paracelsus in one verse. A.B.A doesn’t fit in socially anywhere because of how she was locked out (lock pun unintended) of the world and how she’s nothing like other humans, even though she looks similar. And Paracelsus being an ex-demon/murderer doesn’t fit (key pun unintended) into the world morally either. Both of them are still trying to find their place on Earth and make a difference to each other and themselves. They are the perfect lock and key to each other.

I'm not a fan of a lot of Strive tracks, often preferring the XX or Xrd ones, but this one is definitely an exception. Love how it just turns into metal jazz in the second half.
i don't know all of aba and paracelsus' story but i actually think it's a very happy or atleast hopeful ending because despite how insane and deranged both look they still want to do good in the world :)
Basically, Paracelsus is a demon axe relic that forces its host to kill anything until the host dies because he feeds on blood. He later gets picked up by ABA's creator, turns into a key so ABA would use him (because she's fascinated by keys) but often ends up dragging her into fights (if ABA isn't the one starting them due to jealousy). Skip a few years to Strive and seems like Paracelsus gave up on getting drunk on blood and violence all the time but now ABA's toxic obsessiveness is corrupting him. tldr; 2 toxic lovers end up fixing themselves.
Every match i have now in other fighting games wont hit as hard. Because my ggst matches always got me rethinking life because of whatever song is playing
