    How to survive in the DR: Find a local to hang out with. (A serious one. Not a tiguere). Simple like that. He or she will teach you everything. Including some Spanish and Dominican slang.

I wanna see where black people are going to go to try to make cute kids? I know ya won't go to Haiti because Haitians are pure african people and you cannot make cute light skin kds out Haitians.

    Y’all do have to keep in mind that everyone’s experiences are different and that this is his personal experience (From his point of view) Although we might disagree amongst each other sometimes, we can still have civil and constructive debates. You can learn a lot by doing this. Not everyone’s experience is the same.

      Amen!!! But you have to keep in mind those that are commenting are stuck at the bottom of the crab barrow and refuse to climb out. They can only sit in their basement and comment on youtube videos that they're jealous of. Jus' Say'n.

    I like the guy. I am from germany and have been in DR for a couple of times. Santo Domingo is crazy big city. Something like 4 million residents. Nearly 70% of the population of DR lives there. It is a dangerous place for tourists as the city is known for kidnapping. My personal experience is to not go to this city alone. Exspecially if you are a white person like me. Other places like Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, Sosua... the tourist areas... are cool and mostly save. There is just one golden rule: If they want to sell you something, always cut down the price by 50%.

    • @DCampusano1
      @DCampusano1 6 років тому +2

      Yokul I would disagree. Kidnappings are not common in Santo Domingo. It's overall not dangerous for tourists to go there, but there is a lot of theft. It's important to keep a close eye on your belongings everywhere you go.

    • @yokul8886
      @yokul8886 6 років тому

      +DCampusano1 a friend of me got kidnapped just some weeks ago in Santo Domingo. They took her, beat her, stole everything and put gas over her body and burned it. She survived it after she was in a hospital for a week. Just give you a taste of my reality. We are happy that she survived it. But all money, cellphone, id card, everything stolen.

    Well Damn I thought it was a Nibby Speaks video Ft Negrito Grande but it seemed more like it was ft you cause you seemed so uninterested and when he gets in front of the cam he quickly turned on Hollywood mode tell him be more natural cause his whole interview seemed scripted and rehearsed.

    • @HiddenMexico
      @HiddenMexico 6 років тому +2

      I'm just a little confused. You seem like a big fan of mine on my other channels you watch and leave comments on. I carry the same energy on nearly all of my videos. How come you didn't say I was acting all Hollywood on those videos? Just curious. I'll wait...

    • @jakkiahmaand8718
      @jakkiahmaand8718 6 років тому

      @@HiddenMexico when I say Hollywood I don't mean it in a bad way I'm still a fan and a supporter but this video seemed and feel lot less natural and more like your energy switched up when you got in front of the cam. Its not a diss. But the video was dope ad usual except Nibby didn't talk as much. You should see if you can get a collab with Taylor Made Dreams in Sosua that would be dope, and you coulda got a collab with Carribbean Conquest Chris he's also in Santo Domingo. But I understand if you have your own select few that you want to collaborate with.

      @@HiddenMexico Hollywood to some means fake bogie and other bad stuff but that's not what I meant I meant Hollywood like actors are in there natural form when the cam is off but the minute that cam comes on they are in acting mode ,so all I was saying was it seemed you were in acting mode and a lot less natural no pun intended NG

    It's true that English is not widely spoken in Santo Domingo, you definitely need to know a little bit of Spanish to get around. English is more commonly spoken in the more touristy areas like Sosúa, Cabarete, Bayahibe, or Punta Cana.. And I don't quite get why he mentioned the money thing lol. Why would you travel to any foreign country broke??

    Nibby, you are a pretty woman with a beautiful smile and relaxed and kind persona. Nibby can make anyone feel at ease and still allow you to admire her high intellect. There are a lot of black women like Nibby especially if the women are not in a harsh emotional environment. I came to understand that mass media will seldom highlight the beauty that women like Nibby have. Wow, I am way off topic.........Back on topic, when you go to the DR respect the women and the culture but don't be gullible and get in trouble, you are Tourist with disposable money that enriches the local people.

  • @TriniCanoAdventures
    @TriniCanoAdventures 6 років тому +6

    I agree with everything up until the people looking at you as dollar signs. Just like anywhere else, respect gets you respect. Of course they will try to take advantage if they take you as a sucker...but be respectful yet stand your ground & you can build lifelong friendships even if you only travel there. I have been going there since 2009 & still have the same connections with people I have only bought a beer for maybe once or twice...and they check on me via whatsapp or such more than some of my friends back home. And he didnt give the major differences of Sosua & the capital...but for newbies, its definitely a start.
