I really find Jakarta airport beautiful with its interior. Nice report as always Gavin. Really hoping to try this route on AF (SIN-CGK) or KLM on (KUL-CGK) maybe someday. They're fares are really cheap though.
Well, unfortunately LH doesn't fly via SIN anymore. LH's economy seat are looking better & comfort in my opinion.. However the eye-shades from AF is nice ;)

Great flight experience with AF. But the IFE screen is somewhat small. I tried klm on their 777-200 but the screen was not responsive and lagging. How was the occupancy for this flight?

A.F. HAS to give a good service on their asian routes. there is heavy competition from the asian airlines, with newer aircrafts, flightcrews who are much more dedicated and much,much friendlier towards the passengers. i fly A.F. from cayenne in french guyana to paris ande believe me , the service is very bad and the cabin crew obnoxious. next week i fly klm to amsterdam and that airline is even worse. old old 747-400 and totally uninterested cabin crews. but where i live there is no other choice.
The crew speak very bad English. I can't understand what they tell
