Don't forget the led lighting inside to make it pop and put 2 transum Led lights so it light around the engine at night. I think it's that boat guy on UA-cam that does it with the leds and they look great.
Great video. If you're looking to save a little money you can substitute melamine sponges for Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They're the same thing. Also: Magic Erasers/melamine is the equivalent of 3000-5000 grit sandpaper so they're handy for polishing as well.
Us marine 31 for all your vinyl cleaning need! This stuff is jesus juice for boat owners!! Oh and Polk audio has marine grade stereo equipment that is fairly priced and there quality has definitely improved over the past few years.
Since you ride in lake with fresh water that amp will be ok for now. But if you do hit salt water your gonna need marine grade stuff, rust will eat it in a week. LOOKING GOOD. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
X-14 stain and mildew remover for those handles! No scrubbing required. Just spray it on, let it work, then rinse off. You can pick it up at ACE hardware or online.
Great work! Loved watching what you did with the boat! Maybe it would be good to get some covers for the speakers when you aren't using them. Typically after about 2 seasons, I see the plastic start to crack.
ill vouch for skar as well. Best bang for the buck. They have a line of marine grade amps and they're all under 200 bucks. Better yet thy are a Florida based company.
NVX Audio for a great amp at very reasonable pricing. Their subs are nice too for the money. They don't make marine speakers, but for the amp you can't go wrong.
If you live in Bradenton,Fl. There is a boat warehouse down old hwy 301 just behind Sarasota/Bradenton airport. If you are going south it's on your right just before airport. Lots of parts new and used and price's aren't that bad.
I'm in the middle of doing the exact same thing with the exact same boat. Wake tower, Bimini, sound system, horn, blower, and steering cable. On a 2004 Maxum
Great work on your boat looks great! My only comment is why didn’t you put the patch on the side that everyone will see? I’d add another patch on the top side so it would look cleaner and may work better keeping water out of the boat.
Love the vid man! I’m hoping to get a decent boat to wakeboard with soon. I was on my way home from vero beach and recognized your boat as I was passing by and my mind was blown seeing that u only live 20 mins away from me. If u ever feel like it and have time maybe we could go out wakeboarding or if u would like any free help with a project i be ecstatic to help out. Again great videos man and always look forward to the next one!
Love watching your videos man. Giving me some good ideas for my boat. I think you should definitely look into buying a swim platform for the boat and make a video on installing that! 👍
1) Put/sew the name of the channel on the tear on the back 2) u need to tell us the wattage of the speakers to know the wattage of the amplifier.. the one u got is decent brand.. but need the specs 3) get the VIBe small speakers for the interior of the boat.. but I guess u should go with marine speakers as they withstand the water and salt..
Those mcm are great for the price..I have 4 on my maverick..they have a white option that probably would have looked better on that boat but still looks good..love watching these videos..gotta have a lot of toys for fun in the sun
Lanzar Vibe is honestly a better amp than the Sony Xplod in my experience. Closer to being more of a 'true RMS' rated amp instead of some over exaggerated peak power rating with way less RMS. Constant (RMS) is far more important than peak. If I had a choice I'd probably grab an a/d/s, Orion, or Memphis amp. Even the old school JBL amps are decent for the money.
soooo i LOVE cheap boats one "mod" i like especially at night is i use red green and white LEDs in the appropriate sides and rear except i use basically all the way down the sides with appropriate legal color and white of course in rear
Could you possibly wrap those handles to give them a better look? It may look out of place but maybe some carbon fibre looking wrap to give them a more modern look? Either way, great video thanks for the great content.
nice video. in terms of amps, because its a boat you loose so much bass so i would put in 2 amps to make up for the fact that you cant contain the sound. i got a 1 channel amp that feeds a 10 inch sub and a 4 channel amp that feeds 4 coax 6.5 inch speakers. it allows you hear music in the boat while driving at speed
So I noticed that you put the bottom wake board in the wrong way round in works a lot better if you put it upside down so the top one stays upright and the bottom on goes in upside down I hope that it help you out. Btw I love your vids.
That Sony amp is repairable. I've foxed their TV's (best there is as far as I'm concerned from an electronic tech's prospective) and amps. Parts are readily available and easy to test with an Itty Bitty tester I have ( yes, that's it's brand name). I hardly ever use my dual trace scope anymore. It's often the Mosfets that go or capacitors. That Sony is one of their top of line amp so repairing it would be worth it. Unless it got totally dunked in salt water. Then it's an anchor 😅😅😎
You’re lucky, I’m building my boat in Hawaii and everything has to be marine grade specific or it will rust even faster than normal. Plus trying to get things shipped here is insane.
Don't be surprised if that amp does not last long. They don't do well in moist environments and why stupid expensive marine amps are sometimes worth it. Still nice job on the boat!👍
You have to match Watts RMS, if you look at the speakers what is the ohms they produce and the Watts RMS they can hold. Wiring speakers is also tricky if you wire them in series the ohms will go higher if you wire them in parallel the ohms will go down the lower the ohms the higher Watts the amplifier will send till certain point. So my recommendation is go with a amplifier that have the same amount of channel for your total speakers, so if you have 6 speakers a 6 channels amplifier will be best. What part of florida you are located?
Just make sure to put some protection on the seats after you use a magic eraser. If not, the sun will eat the material pretty quick
You are such an underrated rebuild channel keep up the good work
Alpine amplifiers are wonderful they even have marine-grade ones
Just make sure it’s ofc wire they use Instead of cca wire. Cca corrodes way faster than OFC wire.
Don't forget the led lighting inside to make it pop and put 2 transum Led lights so it light around the engine at night. I think it's that boat guy on UA-cam that does it with the leds and they look great.
This kid is a jack of all trades. I am very impressed with his videos
Zach of all trades 😉
Omg u can sew too! Man ur parents did good! I'm amazed at ur skills and ur ability to learn too!
Bike bar tape could wrap up those handles for cheap and it’s pretty weather resistant
Since you ride in lake with fresh water that amp will be ok for now. But if you do hit salt water your gonna need marine grade stuff, rust will eat it in a week. LOOKING GOOD. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
cool job !!!!!!!! get a portable air horn if you don't have one on the boat already , Soft Scrub and Magic Eraser is what i use to clean everything !!
Anne6621 got one in the cubby 😉
@@ultimaterebuilds7127 good boy !!
Nice boat. When you get a bigger amp those speakers will rock.
Clarion Works very good for me, on my saltwater boat, kicker, JL and JBL are the ones that work better for the amp and the speakers. Nice build !
Out of all the repair skills I have yet to try, sewing is the one I want to do most!
X-14 stain and mildew remover for those handles! No scrubbing required. Just spray it on, let it work, then rinse off. You can pick it up at ACE hardware or online.
I definitely would recommend a marine grade amp. And make sure you get marine grade speakers for the rear. And you should be good to go
Just yesterday I was thinking about how I haven’t seen an upload from you I a little while and meow you’re here... good to see you big guy!
Great work! Loved watching what you did with the boat! Maybe it would be good to get some covers for the speakers when you aren't using them. Typically after about 2 seasons, I see the plastic start to crack.
“Skar audio” is by far the best especially for the price
ill vouch for skar as well. Best bang for the buck. They have a line of marine grade amps and they're all under 200 bucks. Better yet thy are a Florida based company.
Wetsounds makes marine speaker systems. Really nice stuff.
Nice patch job on the covers. I didn't know you were good at sewing too! The top and speakers look great.
NVX Audio for a great amp at very reasonable pricing. Their subs are nice too for the money. They don't make marine speakers, but for the amp you can't go wrong.
Boat looks great man! You should be damn proud of giving that toy a second life! Have fun be safe brother!
The only thing I would do different is move the tower a lot farther back that’s why the cover is super far forward still looks good tho 👍
Kicker is really good with speakers and amps I have a kicker amp and sub and I have had them for a while and I will not go another route
If you live in Bradenton,Fl. There is a boat warehouse down old hwy 301 just behind Sarasota/Bradenton airport. If you are going south it's on your right just before airport. Lots of parts new and used and price's aren't that bad.

Hugs and kisses from big Leroy in Kentucky
Skar amps are the best bang for buck brand out there. For speakers I'd suggest you go with ether fosgate or alpine 6.5's.
Need to put a drivers seat in it . Looking good though.
I’ll buy the Bimini top!
Duuuude I’m so pumped for ya … awesome job 🙌🏾🙌🏾
The boat looks amazing you did a great job I absolutely love it😎🇨🇦
Great video! You have really made that into a nice boat!
Love the vid man! I’m hoping to get a decent boat to wakeboard with soon. New handles, West Marine. Online unless you have one of their stores nearby.
4 Cyl boat for towing tub with a lot people in will be tough, if you sell it dont forget to keep the accessories to put on 6 Cyl boat
Love watching your videos man. Giving me some good ideas for my boat. I think you should definitely look into buying a swim platform for the boat and make a video on installing that! 👍
swim platform makes a huge difference for relaxing. Do you know if it affects the wake for riding?
Brilliant job mate really enjoying your channel keep up the good work all the way from the UK
1) Put/sew the name of the channel on the tear on the back
2) u need to tell us the wattage of the speakers to know the wattage of the amplifier.. the one u got is decent brand.. but need the specs
3) get the VIBe small speakers for the interior of the boat.. but I guess u should go with marine speakers as they withstand the water and salt..
id just take the handles of and paint them with like 4 coats of spray paint and sand in between
Those mcm are great for the price..I have 4 on my maverick..they have a white option that probably would have looked better on that boat but still looks good..love watching these videos..gotta have a lot of toys for fun in the sun
I have a soundstream picasso nano 540x4 small amplifier and has the required rms output for your sspeakers..89.00
Hi love your channel young man with so much talent. You parents must be proud of you dude

Awesome work.. Keep it up
Wrap the handles in a white leather.

Fusion speakers are top of the line for a decent price
Great video Zach. I need to stop watching though. The temptation to buy a boat and jet ski is growing 🤣
Do it!
Do it i would recommend 😂
Only thing about owning a boat is everyone wants to ride but don't want to throw in on the fuel.. A weekend of fun on the lake ain't cheap.. Lol
My dad has all Rockford fosgate and are system bumps it shakes the whole boat 🤣🤣
If your looking for the best audio sound, I would recommend JL Audio. Not cheap but by far the best from my experience.
nice video. in terms of amps, because its a boat you loose so much bass so i would put in 2 amps to make up for the fact that you cant contain the sound. i got a 1 channel amp that feeds a 10 inch sub and a 4 channel amp that feeds 4 coax 6.5 inch speakers. it allows you hear music in the boat while driving at speed
Noticed that your cover sags and catches water in cover. I had this problem also. Leave an inflated tube to hold center up so water doesnt puddle.
So I noticed that you put the bottom wake board in the wrong way round in works a lot better if you put it upside down so the top one stays upright and the bottom on goes in upside down I hope that it help you out. Btw I love your vids.
Sorry if I made a mistake in my first comment

if you have extra money JL audio is worth it! best on the market for marine speakers.
Pure talent!
303 Marine Multi-surface cleaner works great on seats
your videos are amazing and i love watching them keep it up!
You’re lucky, I’m building my boat in Hawaii and everything has to be marine grade specific or it will rust even faster than normal. Plus trying to get things shipped here is insane.
Very nice work!
Man I like your music choices. Please send me the links to your selection!!!!
Fair play, its nice to see a young kid getting his hands dirty. Well done subscribe and liked today looking forward to seeing your other rebuilds.
Don't be surprised if that amp does not last long. They don't do well in moist environments and why stupid expensive marine amps are sometimes worth it. Still nice job on the boat!👍
Get RokForm Marine. Great price and work amazing
You have to match Watts RMS, if you look at the speakers what is the ohms they produce and the Watts RMS they can hold. Skar audio for the money is pretty damn good!
Put baby oil on the seats and it will keep them clean from and drink spills etc.....
Spray the handles silver, it’s the cheapest fix since the handles are intact
Buy an amp which is rated for outdoor use and dampness...
Dude let's talk about that fender scooter u have any video on that
+1 to alpine!
I have a 2020 mastercraft wakeboard boat and a 2019 super air naltique and I have a alpine on both
Rockville amp is on Amazon is pretty good bro
once you master your electric beach and fishing cart , would you built to sell
Have same exact boat. Glove box lid doesn't hold up, did you add a spring to it or something?
kicker amps are good.
Have you tried it for wakeboarding yet? I suspect that little 3.0L engine will not give you a good ride!
You should name the boat “The Hugh Jazz”
My boat has that same rack
What’s the name or brand of Bimini top for wake tower
looking good zach keep it up what lake u gonna take it to?
If I tell you that you’ll know where I live 😉😂
Probably going to go to the chain of lakes soon. Always a fun time.

Karter Snyder no it’s a place here in Florida. Right by LEGO land
What’s going on with the car in the back ground? Any more work done it lately?
Try Sony speakers, they are cheap yet decent quality
Isn’t that sams Nissan figaro?
Next time let ur cushions float in ur pool for a day!✔️
Kicker
Tint the windows
Rockford Fosgate T400x4 Marine Amp
Pioneer
Please add a patch on the other side of the cove. It looks really bad. You really love your water sports don't you? Well done.
Should say cover!!
You should surf on it or get a cheap surf boat
It needs a PA System.
jbl has great amps
point all the speakers to the back you'll get flamed on the lake
