Thanks so very much for these videos! I'm a new SLPA and these videos are just great for understanding how to think about planning a therapy session with my non-verbal kiddos.
Hi Laura! I'm a 4th year SP student. Thank you so much for sharing so much with us! It is certainly very helpful from my perspective to see your skills and how I can incorporate that into my own practice, as well as wonderful strategies for parents and families. Thanks for sharing this video :) Have a great day :)
Hey Laura! We met at KSHA this year (I was the one who mentioned how I listen to your podcasts so much that I feel like your voice is in my head when I am talking to parents in EI sessions...haha!). I am glad to see that you are back with Therapy Tips of the Week. You have inspired me to make my own videos on my channel for speech therapy ideas here on UA-cam at "Learn With Adrienne" :) Hope you are having a great weekend Laura!
i read that book some years ago to a child i was sitting and have been wanting it for my son and couldn't remember the name. finally. yea!! great video, will incorporate this into my son's play.
Iam so surprised how i didn't come across ur channel before .. u r wonderful .. i will start to use ur strategy and let u know the result as my kid has a developmental delay due to premature
Awesome video! I am also an SLP and have been working for several years, but am relatively new to pre-k students (many of which are language delayed and on the ASD spectrum). I loved your ideas! I will be using these ASAP. Especially the idea for adapting the books!
Hi I really like your videos but only problem is your video voice is comparatively low on UA-cam can you please do something so we can hear it more better as even though I put you on high volume its rarely understandable
do you have any advice for kid who seems to be more interested on household object than toys? my son cause lots of mess and sometimes put himself in danger situation because he always want to do whatever mommy is doing without knowing how to do it right, if that make anysense. he play with toys sometimes but in a repetitive way
why the video doesn't has sound?? please check it Edit: my fault, it's working only on the left headset, I was wearing the right one. thanks for your help
