    Thanks for the demonstration, Anne! I have a Lewis Creek Jessie Nightingale. It weighs 7 pounds - it's made of sassafras wood, which is probably lighter than the wood on the harp you demonstrated. And it has a big sound as well! For me anyway, the Nightingale is the best small harp I've ever had, and it took me about 7 years to find the right harp for my therapeutic music practice.

    • @katinka4547
      @katinka4547 2 роки тому

      Yes, it sounds very warm and is one of the best choices for therapeutic music! I played it for a long time and I still love the sound! If you want a bit more bass, the Marini might be the right choice. And the Dusty double ist so different, that you can`t compare it with the others, is my opinion. I`m waiting to play it.

    Ah, that was a wonderful comparison! I would have to say that The Dusty comes in first (in my opinion) in terms of sound (very clear) & resonance. The Marini, second with its sweet & very relaxing tone, & light weight. And, lastly the Lewis Creek Nightingale, which also has a very sweet tone, perfect for bedside playing. Thanks Anne for doing this comparison!🎶🎶👍👍

About 8 years ago when I was first shopping for a harp I tried a Dusty Strings full size harp and didn't like the sound of it in the mid range. I don't remember what model it was but it left a lasting impression toward all Dusty Strings harps. I just love the sound of your double strung harp and might just end up owning one.
