If you've ever studied voice, and particularly this aria, you know what a great artist Joseph Calleja already is, just by listening to this. Flawless and moving beyond words!
Bravissimo y Exelente Version.
He has a very beautiful voice and more importantly, a real italian technique. Una voce magra. He does remind me a bit of Caruso in technique and style, and Gigli in sound. He has a real sweetness to his core.
If a singer feels compelled to change the tessitura of Ombra mai fu from castrato / countertenor to tenor, at least do it with a voice as excellent as Joseph Calleja.

one of the best interpretations that I've ever heard
what a voice
Joseph Calleja is the best of all tenors.
On a scale from one to hundred, this performance is infinity itself
very, very good
@sfkcbf You couldn't have said it better!
