And the microphone most definitely was not adjusted correctly before she showed up to adjust it.
I was watching on my phone, and I was actually having trouble understanding some of his words. So her adjusting that microphone made it so I could actually hear everything well. Which means it made the recording of his voice better as well.

He's blowing the whistle on January 6th insurrectionist. The evidence he's presenting shows people in influential roles took part in keeping security at a minimum on behalf of the people who stormed the capitol building. This shows that the riot was something planned out, that it was encouraged to happen by powerful people. Considering Trump was involved, it's pretty baffling that you are simultaneously in favor of him speaking and yet still pro-Trump.

This Colonel’s testimony is being intentionally blocked. The microphone did NOT have to be moved. The coughing was repetitive. The blockage of the camera is blatant & disgusting. I thank the Colonel for his service, courage, testimony.
I can feel how nervous he is and how much he doesn’t want to be there going against his superiors. But honestly, HE is the superior in that he is not afraid to tell what actually happened as opposed to certain people’s versions of the story.

The point of the interruption was to fix a shitty microphone placement.
And I have to say, as someone with older ears that don't work all that great, who was listening on his phone, that the adjustment was much appreciated.
I had quite a few problems with understanding some of his words, until she adjusted the microphone.
And since the purpose of that microphone isn't to let us hear what they're saying, but instead it's to record it for them to hear it later if necessary, then having a clearer recording is a good thing.

In my experience, military officers are mostly comprised of sheep that will unflinchingly tow the company line regardless of immorality. I've served with about 50 officers that I can remember. About 5 of them were competent individuals who took their oath seriously. The rest were people who failed out of or squandered their college education and needed a well paying backup plan.
