No, it's a New Character, they're Just making him believe his previous identity was Frank Woods. In the Lie ending [SPOILERS AHEAD]: You actually kill the entirety of your team (Mason, Woods, etc...) And Blow up the nukes, and become a member of Perseus, which is actually a Group of people, and not a single individual.
Fabio Luiu pretty sure bell was already part of Perseus. And how are they making the Bell believe “it’s” woods. BO CW is actually a sequel to Black Ops 1, so woods would be with mason and bowman and Hudson’s team. Even tho BO CW is connected to BO1, it could mean BO2 is no longer in the timeline since MW is connected to BO CW. That leaves Bell’s entire backstory was probably just of an ordinary grunt.
GodofMagic42 the reason why it says “Frank Woods” in the name is because the player chose that name. If you played the campaign, you create an entirely new character which can have any name and any gender (including trans) and any skin/ethnicity.
*They could've at least give Bell a voice, this jump to replies from other characters is weird and it's even weirder than Perseus' wearing only one glove on his right hand instead of a pair on both hands! Is that laziness from designers and developers or is it stupidity... I cannot tell!*

Imagine choosing Duga and not being able to ambush because you didn’t unlock the gate beforehand. That’s the worst ending for me lol
reznov was right about the flags part and methods too
So there was never a new character named bell it was a nickname for woods
No, it's a New Character, they're Just making him believe his previous identity was Frank Woods. In the Lie ending [SPOILERS AHEAD]:
You actually kill the entirety of your team (Mason, Woods, etc...) And Blow up the nukes, and become a member of Perseus, which is actually a Group of people, and not a single individual.
Whats the point of choosing bell’s gender if they never talk and you never see their face
GodofMagic42 the reason why it says “Frank Woods” in the name is because the player chose that name. If you played the campaign, you create an entirely new character which can have any name and any gender (including trans) and any skin/ethnicity.
GodofMagic42 The only thing about gender, are the sounds you get hear while injured, plus they didn’t want this game to be “sexist”
That syringe put in the eye is probably gonna be pain
I don't know how they'll go along with this. I dont want woods and Mason to die.
The VA’s aren’t the same, I feel no attachment to them.
My boy Woods got Bioshock'd
Yep
That's not woods just the player named their character that
@James Pionke I was VERY confused when I read frank woods
Ok I know I'm late but how much a intercerbral injection would hurt like holy shit
All I read was "COD Black Ops Cold War - Bell Discovers What" and I thought it would say "What the numbers mean"
This reminded me of the old missions with mason and I teared up
The bells are ringing inside his head ( ͡O ͜ʖ ͡O)
*They could've at least give Bell a voice, this jump to replies from other characters is weird and it's even weirder than Perseus' wearing only one glove on his right hand instead of a pair on both hands! Is that laziness from designers and developers or is it stupidity... I cannot tell!*
This is exactly like the Manchurian Candidate.
No wonder i chose ambush at first choice. I got regret at moment then choosing truth second time, but he end up shot me dead.
Frank "Bell" Woods, so Woods is actually Bell?!?!?!?
Alders biggest secret: the dead cat he has on his head
Nah, Lego hair.
Wtf happen to the texture at 3:25
low poly chair lol
Maybe bell saw it like that
@@k46ib_ *no*
Probably was expecting the SSD speed of the PS5, and since he's probably playing on a ps4, that might be the problem (technically it's a bug)
Ps4
Shoutout to this guy, named his character “Frank Woods.”
8:45 oh wow thanks next time someone implants memories of terror in my head ill thank them next time😂
THE NUMBERS MASON!!! WHAT DO THEY MEAN?!!
wait, wrong game
The easter egg existed though if you play in a mission as Mason.
9:47 i love the way he says this lmao
Eye just had an eye injection today and I was freaking out for weeks leading up to it thinking about this scene.
Funfact: Adler says, it was never personal. Theres a finisher line from Frank Woods in mw where he says the same quote: Dont take it personal.
(I think that was the skin from frank that you get from preordering coldwar)
Why did they have to do me like that 😔
The only thing bad about this campaign was that it was too short
