In today's video I give you an update on how our new bottle calf is doing and talk about what we do to take care of bottle calves on the farm! I give some specific tips and how to's! Nothing we do is perfect and I'm sure people with more experience do things differently! I get Chief out of his pen for some exercise and to meet the KuneKune pigs for the first time! I know you didn't like the smell of calf poo, but baby human poo can be extremely smelly also. Another thing, the amount of the poo and pee will be more than goats as bovines are much larger than goats. I love the cow/bovines group. We raised a Hereford heifer, like a dog, when I was under 10 and she greeted, baby running with the dogs, to us when the bus let us off at the end of the driveway. She was huuuuuge. Loved her. This was a true dairy cow.

Great video. Love all the farm animals. I must be a trained animal no one has to chase me down to eat. I know right where to go for food for each meal.
