i can totally relate with razor carrying ur team for half the game, until u can get a good 5 star dps character. Razor walked so they could run.
Yeah I got Diluc(mostly for Abyss) but still use Razor for most content. Got 20k+ AA it slaps.
Razor was my first charcater that i pulled, he was 5 months my main, untill i got tartaglia
I have Childe and Xiao but I have had Razor on my team ever since the first 10 pull. He also came with Jean but I benched her because I can’t kick my Bennett and Razor out
man, I didnt get razor until I was AR 46 or something :/

Steps to build Albedo
Step 1 : get him!
Step 2 : invest half of your life in artifact domain
Step 4: spend 4 months in the talent book domain and only get 1-2 books a try 😀 and don't complain
Step 4 : give him a good weapon
Step 5 : done!!

I got my Albedo, but he seems to have a cryo vision and being so small, ig I got one of his skins, but I wish they fix that bug.

I feel like there's a certain close-mindedness with players where they firmly believe a character cannot be used outside of the role they were designed for and it's a bit disappointing

My entire team is made out of supports and thus, they all became my dps mains. Idk how this happened, i was just trying to build Beidou.

If solo i usually use mona or xingqiu
But in co op i can only use 1 char and Childe melee always apply hydro so it's easier since i only have to focus on enemies weakpoint

I did some rough calculations comparing Keqing vs Albedo with each ideal stats for them, and I came to the conclusion that Albedo can actually out dps Keqing if he is built properly, though the reason why he is usually put as a support is because 60% of his overall DMG potential (that helps him out dps Keqing) can be carried over to another dps via his blossoms. In conclusion, if you truly want to use Albedo as a main dps, he does have good potential with the right build.

@@ooga1st31 the right build for albedo is either his signature 2pc Noblesse 2pc Archaic or a 2pc Archaic 2pc Gladiator. Bc of the amount of geo damage he does, Archaic 2pc is a must always. For a weapon, the best contenders are the Jade Cutter, Aquila Favonia and the Summit Shaper. Getting at least 1.5k for both ATK and DEF is recommended, but don’t waste your crit ratios on these stats.
@@simonhand_ i use prototype rancour and rachaic petra and my attack is 1.7k and def is 1k but his skill blossoms do 4k and his burst does 22k with no buffs at all

@@simonhand_ hey does that 15% geo dmg that 2pc archaic gives really make that much difference? is just that I thought of giving him 2pc gladiator and 2pc noblesse just so his ult can make more dmg but he's doing fine with 4pc gladiator and idk if I should change it.
as an old zhongli and albedo golden duo main, the game hates our geo constructs man its rough out here.

Yes, I still don't undestand why geo constructs have limitations on amount, time on field, cooldown, hit points, surface AND BOSS HITBOXES. It's kind of outrageous how Albedo's E can only be used on Childe as world boss and is unusable in all other world boss fights. Even though Albedo's geo contruct is just a small one that could easily stay under a boss without the hitbox just making it disappear.
This just proves that most geo mains are world bosses and oceanid haters

Bruh same. After getting albedo, they are always in the team. I hate Andrius, Oceanid, and Geo Hypostasis so much. I can still place the constructs on most bosses but those things are the most annoying. Andrius easily deletes the constructs, can't put constructs on oceanid's stage, and Geo Hypostasis is immune to geo.

My bag is almost always full and I farm moderately...
I felt embarrassed when that happened to me, now I constantly don't have enough artifacts for enhancements and have to pick and choose 4 stars since I still depend on those too lol
man im at ar51 and i have like 100 artifacts because i want to build all and none of my characters at the same time
so i have like 3 three star artifacts and like 20 gold ones because i fodder e v e r y t h i n g
my eula currently has all four stars because i literally cannot with the level 90 pale flame domain

ooh random tip for the archaic petra domain if anyone needs it: If walk to the domain start symbol and place albedo's flower, you can click start immediately walk onto the flower (or wait a little if theres lag). You'll be lifted up and the Ruin Hunter will show its eye so you can shoot it down immediately :)

Ah... the classic "I built a character not because the meta said so but because I like them" we love to see it.
I remember having a "friend" who I met through co-op who really wanted Zhongli (like me) when he came out but was literally a slave to meta. He didn't get him but I did during his rerun and was trashing me for wanting to be a Zhongli main and have him as my main DPS instead of a support when I already had Beidou as my main dps and Bennett aa my support dps both doing crazy damage. He also trashed me for being a Beidou main while having Diluc in my inventory lol (he is a Diluc main)
Months later my man Zhongli gives 0 craps about the meta he just destroys with his elemental burst, his E and charged attacks.
I swear everyone that pulled for Albedo either got more than one of him or suddenly had better artefact luck

sure, just i'm sure op wanted to do more AAs since albedo's more obviously used for his E and Q already. then again, i have no idea what is the best weapon for him in this case but i'm sure HoD isn't the most feasible.
@@nicoles_handle i guess if u want to do AA's then i understand :) just personal preference for me to put HOD bc crit is satisfying, and personally i don't see a significant enough change in aa from hod to prototype to switch, if that makes sense? but of course there's no 'right' way to play a character, whatever floats ur boat i guess:)

Loved the selection of songs, I think piano is perfect for Albedo, since he seems so elegant.
I use him as my main, and honestly, I don't regret It. He's the one of my characters that gives the most dmg even having a low lvl compared to other dps/sub dps in my team that are way more well-builded than him.
I wonder how big his burst damage and damage overall is just by himself?
Also with bosses he can put his blossom a bit farther away, and the transient blossoms can still be activated
Because geo doesn't have resonance with any element, his burst damage multipliers are way higher than others

As a Albedo main I’d say he’s a good main dps as I’ve hit 80k with him while randomly farming artifacts. (Every character can be good if you build them right but Albedo would still be considered weak compared to Hu Tao, Eula, Ganyu and Xiao)

Em... If planning DPS build, circlet can only be either crit rate or crit damage.

@@justjustin5241 noped. As a main DPS, you'd want him to deal consistent damage so a higher crit is better which is hard to get from substats alone.
With zhongli My albedo E dealt 12k in abyss florr 12 every 2 sec, and his q dealt 33k

The artifact farming is pain
Tried over weeks to get the perfect ones but failed so I used some of the atk artifacts and some with the original ones I slapped on him

The honestly need to fix the blossom being destroyed so easily by most boss enemies... it completely makes him useless against them. No other character has this issue overall.
Albedo was my first five star and the first character I brought to friendship 10, and while I built him as a support I mean to properly build him as a dps in the future cause he is just so much fun to use! This gave a good idea of what I can aim for. Also hey, same talents and same constellation! I'm already there basically, ahahaha (let's not think.... About the artifact grinding I'll have to do. The Petra domain sometimes appears in my nightmares.)

The problem is that crit rate should be main stat and defense substat, and it's so close to perfect that it's annoying.

In that moment I felt like I was finally a "big boy"
Now, the fact that this was done on an underlevelled diluc, with horrible substats on his 4pc crimson witch set, using a budget sucrose EM build....
We don't talk about that :')
I now run a xiao team and a diluc team, both usually have albedo in it.
Loved seeing his dmg potential as a dps, but he is still my favorite support to use, for sure!
I now almost always run at least 1 support with a 4pc noblesse set, built to spam ults, so that beefs up most of the dmg I deal with w/e setup I run.

Hey next time doing the noblesse dungeon, just bring Anemo mc it will make stuff a lot easier. basically just stand at bottom right corner and facing the wall, all the abyss mages will teleport in front of you and can just use traveller's e to simply destroy their shield

I have Albedo, but he couldn't replace my main Razor, because he is great dmg dealer and for Albedo, you need put hard work and meaned crusade path for grinding artifacts for him.
Albedo and noelle both have such great scaling and being able to have attack, defense and ER all provide great damage output, it hurts to see that 120+ EM on your artifacts there. hope you can dodge them next time!
