    Did this to my machine several months ago. This week I did a once over on it. I found both inner tie rods bent at the ball right at the rack. Upon further investigation I found that when front of the machine jacked up off the ground the suspension will not fully extend. The inner tie rod will only let it go so far. I removed the outer from the knuckle and the shock extended an other inch. This I believe is bending the inner right at the rack. I've double checked and yes I put the short ones on the front. Wondering if you have any input.
    Thnx
    John.

      🤔 I’m not sure because the rack is the same across all Zforce models if I remember correctly. That’s definitely weird for sure. If I run in to this issue I will definitely update everyone and figure out a fix for it.

  • @thunder12121
    @thunder12121 3 роки тому

    I'd suggest to start putting Loctite from the tip of the bolt then you are sure that the nut gets a sufficent amount of Loctite. At @9:02 on the higest bolt the nut probably doesn't get any Loctite because with wheel spacers the nut usually doesn't go in on all the nut thread.
    And a little tip for the front tire jobs is that you can use fron brake lever with nip ties or something then you don't have to use any bar or something to hold the tire spacer from spinning.

    Hey I just installed the 2” rzr lift on my zforce 2021 800 trail and was having difficulty getting the front shocks back on. I had to push the A arm down as far as I could and then pry up the shock a bit to get the bolt in. I put the larger lift mounts on the front and smaller on the rear just wondering if that is right and is that normal to have to fight with the front so much to install the shocks again after? Did the install as per your video, wondering if this was an issue for you. Using the one small bracket and one larger per tire I noticed when reattaching the spring that the bolt holes for the spring aren't exactly lined up. The bolt will go through and I tightened and have been running it that way. I'm just wondering if the bolt being a little off center will cause trouble down the road? Also, my ride was nice and soft pre install then rigid post install, I loosened the pre load on the back as much as I could and still rough. I did just take the sway bar off today which I did have done when I installed the lift, I'm going that helps but any other advice you might have would be great! @@nomacc7752 Actually the larger brackets go on the front with the lips trimmed & the smaller ones go on the rear as is not cut or trimmed. Scroll up in the comments & it even says that. There is another video on UA-cam that shows this install kit & he did his that same way & so did I. The larger ones in the front lay flat once trimmed & make for a more secure fit. Also. I drilled a single hole through the factory hole on one side of each mount to add extra stability & added an extra bolt & nut. That's one extra bolt/nut per bracket. Only 4 in total. I did the kit on a 2021 Zforce 500 trail. Fronts on the lower end & rears on the top end. Hope this helps.

      @R.N.GPerformance  4 роки тому

      davy crockett ehhh dont listen to these uneducated folks. If you go with 2 inch you will be fine. Even 2.5 But if you go much more then that you can have wheel bearing issues. We have 2k problem free miles on ours. Ive put wheel spacers on allot of things. Trucks. Cars. Golf carts. 4 wheelers. And from experience anything past 2.5 inches will cause the problems.
