49ers fan here. You guys are lucky. Harbaugh was great I even named my dog Harbaugh. The Chargers will be a powerhouse soon. My daughter goes to Michigan and enjoyed last years great run. She thanked me because I made her a Harbaugh fan when he was with the 49ers. Thats why she went to Michigan as well!

As the older generation used to say "That boy was raised right". Full disclosure, I am a Lifelong Michigan Wolverine fan and I've always been a Jim Harbaugh fan. What we see is the real deal. This man was born to be a football legend. I'll go so far as to say when it's ALL said and done, he'll be a legend.
I started saying “who’s got it better than us” to my kids back when Jim was in USD. It’s great that he is now my chargers head coach. I only say it to my kids when the going gets tough. When it looks like it’s the worst I say “who’s got it better than us? And they yell no body”
Dan - reiterating Jim’s sentiment, thanks for bring up the Chargers work shirt, leading to Jim’s stories from his family. My grandfather wore one of those shirts during his time as a mechanic in southwestern Ohio. That hard job ultimately led to cancer and the end of his life, but it’s part of our family’s story and hard-working nature of Ohio and the Midwest. Same thing with working until you die. Ohio and Michigan can battle on the field, but we have shared values with many in the Midwest.

He said that a college education is important but the cost of higher education most kids can’t afford it and when they get out they are in debt. It would be nice if these kids could be guide in positions that will make money to pay ther debt or suggest the trades
They kicked paterno to the curb for a reason. Jim has done some mildly shady things but i would think he had way more integrity to be even mentioned in the same sentence. Probably start swinging at someone if he encountered something like that.
