Let’s See if I Can Paint with Powder

Taking Mica Marbling Powder Pigment and brushing it on the rod before applying epoxy.
I used Pigments by Nuno pigment colors Tropical Blue, Artic Blue, Pistachio and White. I got this idea after I saw something Mary Christy did

Thanks for sharing your work I tried this about 3 years ago, and my first attempt was less than I had expected after a lot of head down and thinking the next attempt was ok the real difference was I put down the thread and added Cp and let it to just about dry and then add the mica to it it was about 8/10 the next attempt I did the same but I was really selective with the mica to only 25% of the wrap then over the next couple of days kept adding mica to just about make a picture of sorts. I did find that the cp needs to dry a lot before adding the mica.I hope that this will be helpful as you go down the Rabbit hole. Regards Mal Sunshine Coast Australia Keep up with the great content
