- As the new Covid strain 'Omicron' raises alarm across the globe, Adar Poonawalla, the chief of Serum Institute of India which manufactures COVID-19 vaccine Covishield, in an exclusive interview to NDTV said that Omicron-specific booster shots are possible and added that the focus of the government must remain to get everyone double vaccinated.

Provided there is no issue in stock availability, GOI must approve booster to all those who are willing to pay and take it.hope they approve this asap.
I hope GOI takes 200 for petrol to give me a free booster shot.
5 of my family members (cousins, nephew, niece) got covid vaccine (Covishield) and all of them got covid 19 after the vaccination but those who don't get vaccination don't get covid 19 including me.
you might have been unsymptomatic??? why the apprehension to get vaccince? Dont risk others at your cost. Also, just to point out vaccinated individuals can get covid but the intensity will be of mild nature.
