      Marvin Hagler had a much more powerfull body and muscles. He fought and moved better with much more speed and strength...Hagler would have pullverized this ggg.

      @@leandroluiscruz8536nope... GGG has one of the pound for pound strongest chins of boxing ... And ggg could box and brawl...
      I respect haggler, but he is losing either by unanimous decision to ggg or his chin will fail him in the fight if it ever happened.. Altho haggler too had quite the chin.. Which is why i lean more towards the decision win by ggg

      @@malemasterrace478 Hagler endured the bombing punches of Roldán, Hearns and Mugabi whose punches could have killed king kong. No. Hagler was in another too higher level. GGG was strong, but human. Hagler was A MACHINE made of granite, iron, steel and wires...The only superior bout in that división would have been Hagler vs Monzón, this last one, another destructive and cool icy machine.

      @@leandroluiscruz8536 I feel like you have this nostalgic bias that's it... We all have.. The only way haggler wins is by decision if he keeps on moving.. If he stands, ggg wins.. By no means, GGG gets knocked out.. He took bombs from Canelo who went on to knock out people at light heavyweight

      @@malemasterrace478 Nothing to do with nostalgia. We are speaking about LEVELS. i don´t deny GGG greatness. What I mean is that he is an excellent boxer, but no more than that; even Thomas Hearns would have cut GGG in pieces with that lethal speed.

    YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY, GGG is being taught proper infighting fundamentals!!!!!!!!! He was great and fundamentally sound on the outside, but nobody ever knew how, therefore never trained GGG infighting lol. I always said "imagine how nearly unbeatable GGG would be if he was trained proper infighting fundamentals?". I'm hugely excited and I knew Banks would train him to infight properly, but seeing is truly believing and at 1:35 GGG demonstrates a perfect bob n weave. It's funny because it seems simple, and in a way it is but headmovement and punching off of it is complex at the same time. The simplicity is that in boxing there are only two types of headmovement (unless youre fighting out of the Philly shell stance, then slips are fundamentally the same but the angles are different). The slip, and then bob n weave. I've seen GGG use the bob n weave exactly once and that was in training camp a year ago lol. It'll take alot of conscious effort from GGG and alot of getting hounded by Bank's to move his head and punch off it, but he'll get to the point that he no longer needs to think to move his head and counter. It'll be one second nature. Excellent 👍👌! Switching trainers to Bank's, who understands the fundamentals of in fighting is the smartest thing GGG could've possibly done as Sanchez had nothing to offer on that front but more of the same.

      @@mr.t658 SMH part of it is that Europeans (especially... Eastern? European's like russian, Ukrainian, etc) have that straight up stance and only use either footwork, or they look to punch with the opponent. However, with some opponents you simply must have the full range of fundamentals ie, head movement as distance management by itself isn't always enough. I wish GGG had been trained to fight inside early on in his career because when you punch harder than pretty much everyone, youre giving up that huge natural advantage by getting close, then backing out on your own when you should get close and look to land hard shots and make your opponent be the one to look to disengage.

    • @mr.t658
      @mr.t658 Рік тому +1

      @@mikimiyazaki yup. GGG has always been a fighter that puts his whole body into every punch and i think if he incorporated head movement in his style the leverage he would gain would be insane. On top of that being defensively responsible + opportunities to land monster counter shots. In Derevyanchenko fight the guy was coming forward slapping GGGs gloves all night, seems like a perfect opportunity to stand your ground and unleash powerful counters but it never happened. GGG backed up the whole fight. I think he has a tendency to look down while under attack which means you can't counter punch while looking at the ground. A lot of fighters have this nowadays where they just put their guard up (which i'm not a fan of) and look at the ground until the opponents is done punching. No head movement and counters whatsoever. Distance control is good and GGG is good at that but he really could have been twice a better fighter if he incorporated some of the techniques

      that's what happens when you scare off the opposition nobody one of the guy when he was young he offered to come down to 154 to fight Floyd Floyd didn't want him then koto didn't want him then and 5 years ago they tried to get canelo canelo didn't want him everybody wants to wait till the guy gets old and then they say he never fought anybody it really embarrasses me for the sport wake up canelo got schooled by Floyd outbox by Lara outbox by koto in the first half of their fight and made amir Khan look like Muhammad Ali for 6 rounds he just struggled with nearly every top opposition fighter that he's faced the only time he looks like a world-beater is if he's facing Aamir Khan which he was very lucky he landed knockout punch or he would have lost the decision and Rocky Fielding who nobody ever heard of to begin with an old Shane Mosley doesn't count golovkin mugged him the first time they fought sadly enough he didn't fight Mexican style the second time but he did outbox him boxing is the criteria of the game golovkin is old Max kellerman made a statement years ago that he's scaring off the opposition now that he's up there in years people are less afraid of him it embarrasses me for the sport it reminds me of Mayweather vs Pacquiao that fight happened way after the expiration date Mayweather would have won anyway because he's an exceptional slick defensive fighter they tried to get canelo five years ago canelo didn't want to fight him they try to get cotto five years ago cotto didn't want to fight him the only top-flight opponent he's fought is golovkin both fights are controversial except I thought he won the first fight I thought he mugged him and then the second fight I thought he out boxed him
