- FightHype.com was on the scene in Hayward, California where undefeated former world champion Andre Ward was putting in some serious work as he trains for his March 26 clash with top light heavyweight contender Sullivan Barrera. Check out how he looked as he showed off his technique and footwork while shadowboxing.

Chayanne Tweh Ward is the only person I can see beating GGG at 160. He's able to close the gap and keep it tight and ggg has a hard time with that because he needs room

This is the real finesse of boxing. I was looking at Ggg videos and everyone is saying “wow this guy is so perfect, no wasted movement, perfect posture" but this guy will out class anyone in a boxing match. Ggg is big and strong but in pure boxing skill Ward is on a other level.

No crowd, straight work. Kept his hands up the entire time, tight defense and sharp execution the whole time. The best part, his footwork kept him moving constantly. What a great fighter. I consider him one of the best to ever do it, but minus all the hype.

Why the fuck do cameramen never show the feet while boxers are training. That's the most important part of boxing. Never made sense to me. Its like showing a basketball player shooting hoops without showing the actual jumpshot.

As of right now Ward is a legit Top 3 P4P fighter (that most casual fans don't even know about). I think you have to put Kovalev right above him though, just because he has dominated some good opponents more recently than Ward has. Gonna be a HUGE fight that'll be much better than MayPac.

appreciate the upload but WHY DO ALL VIDEOS ALWAYS AVOID SHOWING THE FEET???? As a young fighter wanting to learn from the very best like Andre it would be nice to watch his feet movement in tandem with the upper body movement. Those who dabble in boxing know it all starts from the feet! No point writing "FOOTWORK" in the title and showing NO FOOTWORK!!!
