DannyMorrs THANK YOU! Someone who at least appreciates them! I, too agree that they had some errors and hiccups, but they also had fantastic references to the originals, dark themes at play, and an interesting background of the Force and the Dark Side. To completely overlook them is a huge mistake, I think!
+barbaro267 I agree! I prefer having three great movies and 3 good movies than just the former. I grew up watching the original trilogy, A New Hope was the first movie I watched, and the prequels didn't tarnish them in any way. I loved the possibilities it brought, such as seeing the Jedi order, the Republic, the Clone Wars, etc. the prequels created just as many good things as it did messups
MushroomSurpriz then he wouldn't have fallen on his back on the first try also if they let go of both controls and shot then they wouldn't have spun out and would have fallen very slowly able to recover
As epic as this episode was, it isn't 100% correct because Boba Fett used a hands-free jet pack, but we haven't invented those yet, so I guess this is as close as we can get
***** I am full aware that it is made for entertainment reasons, I am not stating a complaint but at the beginning, they were questioning if the jet pack was sensible, it is if it's hands-free but not so much if you have to control it with your hands
+The Waifu Master I had the exact same thought as soon as I saw the video title. Fett's jetpack is controlled via eye movements picked up by his helmet's HUD. Also, he's an expert marksman as it is, which I'm pretty sure Chris and Blaine are not. Theoretically, though, the added maneuverability and speed would be a significant advantage.
+The Waifu Master It seems like this and the last immersion (MGS) were designed for failure. Making it difficult to shoot and steer, having lab rats crouch instead of crawl, I'm sure the intention was to make them suffer.
+MrTibbletin How dare they not have a real jet pack. The men were flying in the air and getting shot with paint balls, but it didn't live up to MY expectations so I will complain about it.
Star Wars lines I wish were in this video: "No, no, no... YOU WILL DIE!!!" "I am the senate" "Its treason then..." and last but not least "TRAITOR!" Great video nonetheless, Blaine is becoming one of my favorite RT employees, Chris is already one of my favorites (especially after Sex Dogs)
+MattMayFire1 they told Blaine that they got him an early screening of the force awakens, and they showed him what amounted to a fan film made by the rooster teeth crew. This was a huge blow for him because he was so excited on social media about it.
+Ovenchicken but with drones now in the market that can fly, stabilize themselves and shoot all at the same time while being a very small target surpasses the need to invest in this technology beyond just fun and amusement...humans are real bad at multitasking and the power needed to lift them up is to big...but the video looked interesting I agree.
Okay, here's an Immersion idea: 3rd Person Shooter. The Lab Rats have those special video goggles (like Gav & Michael did in the splitscreen immersion) only they can only see from over their shoulder.
Realistically, jump packs would make more sense than a jetpack. Staying in the air just makes you not have any cover :P I think it only works if you're like, an XCOM sniper
Every time I read a comment about Boba Fett having the wrong jet pack I read it in the Chris Trott nerd voice. "Eeeerrrr technically Boba Fett does not need to control his jet pack by hand THANK YOU."
Well, a few considerations: Boba Fett was trained from birth to be a professional killer. These guys picked up a jetpack for the first time in their life and still managed to hit a target. I mean, if they had grown up with this jetpack, maybe they'd have hit more often. Also, the whole hands off thing, but whatever.
in the clips they show in the beginning, you can see that Boba actually has his hands free when shooting. He must have some way to control it through his helmet or maybe his gauntlets. It looked as though he was using his body weight/tilt to steer as will. I know Rooster Teeth was limited by our real world jet pack technology, bu they could have mounted the gun to the jetpack ans then maybe put in some controls next to one of the thruster controls to aim it and shoot it. Still very fun to watch!
My favorite part of this video was how INTO it Chris and Blaine got. They're rly just big nerds lol. Also the big splash whenever they wiped out was great
And for added realism, Chris and Blaine were given shooting lessons by the Galactic Empire! "Perfect Marksmanship!" - Darth Vader "100% Accuracy, I wish I could shoot as well as them!" - H. Stormtrooper "These boys are the best of the best. The Empire is proud of you!" - The Emperor
One discrepancy with Boba Fett is that he doesn't need to use his arms to control his jetpack, leaving him free to aim. I know this would be impossible to recreate in real life but I felt like pointing it out anyway. Very entertaining video, RT!
"You're going to have to take off the jetpack to put on the jetpack." HAHA!! And those prequels quotes tho! I'm loving the use of royalty-free, errr...I mean classical music in the background!
I just attempted to watch this in the silent zone of a university. It's surprisingly difficult to contain a LOL moment; kinda like trying to hold a mouthful of water during a fit of laughter... get your towels ready
Blaine's "It's working!" Anakin reference was great. Always love seeing the prequel love.
TeddyPicker191 I like your Steve Brule picture.
+DannyMorrs Despite what the Star Wars fanatics say, I love the prequels :D
+barbaro267 They're not as great as the originals, but I marathoned all six before I saw episode 7 for the first time :)
DannyMorrs THANK YOU! Someone who at least appreciates them! Hope this goes viral because this is epic
burnies intro with the emphasis on the first word should go viral
+Jessica C Everything with Blaine goes viral.
+Jessica C
Almost as viral as that female clothings episode!
Boba Fett did more in this video than in Star Wars itself.
lol true
+johnriddell71 Basically
+johnriddell71
Fanon Boba Fett: Most badass killer ever!!!!
Canon Boba Fett: Delivery guy who falls into a hole and dies
+Kevin Gluys He's canonicaly alive!!!
+Kevin Gluys but canonically he's not dead
Blaine finally gets to live out his dream of shooting all over Princess Leia's feet
How the hell does Blaine sound so calm? I would be freaking out while flying around with a jetpack over a lake haha.
+DreamcastGuy I assume they had a lot of practice beforehand, getting used to the jetpack.
+EinsteinReplica no they never do thats the point
+Robert Pendli they say they dont but they probably do
MushroomSurpriz then he wouldn't have fallen on his back on the first try
also if they let go of both controls and shot then they wouldn't have spun out and would have fallen very slowly able to recover
lol I would love to try it. What a great job to have.
I LOVE the Portal-style animations. Awesome addition to the show.
I would have preferred to see geoff and gus do this
+EruptionFang Ah yes, the original test dummies.
+EruptionFang The man crashed a scooter his first time driving it. But yeah sure lets let Geoff operate the several thousand dollar pressure cannons.
I want to see Geoff and Gus do something physical again
+EruptionFang They'd probably break a hip.
YESS

+The Waifu Master Don't talk about scientific accuracy, that's Woody's trigger.
+Scorch Games obvious sperg right here
+The Waifu Master It seems like this and the last immersion (MGS) were designed for failure. Making it difficult to shoot and steer, having lab rats crouch instead of crawl, I'm sure the intention was to make them suffer.
wish they had the gun mounted to the jetpack. would have been more easy to shoot. probably an engineering hassle though
+piratecheese13 The engineering hassle of applying duct tape, yeah.
+Dolkarr I'm assuming they were just renting the jet pack so duct tape...probably not great for a rented super expensive jet pack.
Jeff Goldblum Well, they didn't hesitate using it as a practice target for paintball.
+piratecheese13 Nah, there's no need for Chris and Blaine to actually succeed is there?
Dolkarr
that's true, but paint is much easier to wash off than duct tape, or even duct tape residue. besides, it's funnier this way haha.
The only problem I have with this is that Boba Fett's jet pack is hands off, but whatever. Work with what you've got.
+MrTibbletin How dare they not have a real jet pack. The men were flying in the air and getting shot with paint balls, but it didn't live up to MY expectations so I will complain about it.
+Fattydude66 I love you. You cut to the core of me.
Blaine Gibson Haha it's a stupid thing to complain about, seriously.
+MrTibbletin I don't really see how you were complaining. I was thinking the same thing actually, but work w/ what ya got as you said.
True
Applying science to Star Wars always yields entertaining results.
Wow, Chris and Blaine's aim was almost as bad as real Stormtroopers.
+Fangtorn Well Chris was a Stormtrooper...
Nah, I think the Stormtroopers have slightly better aim.
+Fangtorn And these blast points, too accurate for sand people. Only imperial storm troopers are so precise
This isn't a spoiler but somebody would urinate on me yelling it is
The new movie the storm troopers can actually hit a human sized object.
Almost as bad.
Working there is basically my dream job.
HitmanNOS98 ikr
apply
jon adams Can't. Have no marketable skills. Well, at least none that would benefit them.
what about being a lab rat understudy? Like if Gavin get's his nob injured you can step in
Barb looks pretty damn fetching in that Rebel infantry get-up.
+Halo4Lyf wow she sure does!
This is why you hardly see boba fett fly in the movies. And when he does, he falls into the pit!
lol
+Geir Wickstrøm I wouldn't call that flying, more like horizontal falling.
+BreakJack horizontal falling with style?
The7Goobers Damn straight! You understand.
+Geir Wickstrøm Robot Chicken needs to do this. lol
Burnie is enjoying this waaaaaaay too much.
+Cait Cherniak why wouldn't he? he's one of five people that can shoot their employees with paintball gun and say its for work.
I really thought that Ryan was going to be in this, so he could be still in the air!
Every single episode of Immersion this season has been spot on.
"Now this is podracing!" One of the cringiest lines in star wars
I would say "It's over Anakin, I have the high ground"
"GRRRR I HATE YOUUUU"
No! No! That's impossible
+Faverelli What about any Gungan line ever?
+marcus doxey "If you're not with me, you're my enemy" forgot about that one
This is probably my favorite immersion!!!! I love Chris and Blains constant Star Wars quotes!!
Hey look! It's FLUDD!
Mario!
who would win? the flood or fludd.
+letsplaytodayusa Was I... of assis... tance?
Mr. Bibs you shut the hell up right now
for me the grief is still too near #nvr4ghetti
@6:47 Loved the cut to the Rebel fighters and Johns just there with his hand in his pocket so nonchalant.
Star Wars lines I wish were in this video:
"No, no, no... YOU WILL DIE!!!"
"I am the senate"
"Its treason then..."
and last but not least
"TRAITOR!"
Great video nonetheless, Blaine is becoming one of my favorite RT employees, Chris is already one of my favorites (especially after Sex Dogs)
I wish blaine or chris said i now have UNLIMITED POWER!!!!!!! when flying towards the rebel scum
AH will always be my favorites. But Bernie the Risemonger and Blaine are my three favorite RT employees
I wish he would've said "I hate sand"
Maso V Everyone is technically an RT employee
TRAITOR!
*wappitywappitywappitywappitywap*
Mad props to the editing team. My sides haven't hurt like this in a long time.
Glad they made it up to Blaine after the Star Wars prank
he got a free ps4 from dice. I think he's over it.
What did they do?
+MattMayFire1 they told Blaine that they got him an early screening of the force awakens, and they showed him what amounted to a fan film made by the rooster teeth crew. This was a huge blow for him because he was so excited on social media about it.
+XFlare17 Oh ok thanks
+Sarok It`s not bad, fresh worms every day
To be fair, boba doesn't need his arms to use his jet pack, so these guys are at a large disadvantage.
If your gonna be Kanye you have to say you could've done it with your arms behind your back and without a jetpack.
Ikr how DARE they not use hands off jet packs from the future and use what has been invented How DARE ThEY
This didn't seem that bad... ;)
I was just about to make this joke
But honestly to anybody that doesn't know the one that was talked about is the skyrim episode
+AceandDuce it was space invaders actually
No he said it was the skyrim episode in the podcast
Props to whoever edited this. Great stuff. One of my favourite Immersion episodes.
I guess you could say Blaine's dreams really soared through the sky
I love all the Star Wars quotes in the video. It's awesome to see that other people are as nerdy as I am about this.
Is like just wearing a storm trooper outfit kills your aim!
Props to the prop department. All of the props and sets have been great this season.
Okay, here's an Immersion idea: 3rd Person Shooter. The Lab Rats have those special video goggles (like Gav & Michael did in the splitscreen immersion) only they can only see from over their shoulder.
+TheStarToursTraveler somehow fangle a selfie stick and play the feed to the goggles? That could work
Daniel McCance-Lowe Might work.
Somehow, they got it to work for Resident Evil
i love the immersion series so much, it never disappoints..
Why did Burnie need a life vest? XD
why not?
+Rascythe If you pause at 4:31, Burnie is stood at the front of that cute little boat thing ^.^
+Rascythe It's a law that you have to have a life vest while on a boat. At least in my state it is.
+Calvin Palmer here it's only if you're under 16
+Rascythe Because he would have looked fatter on camera without it.
That looked like so much fun, I've always wanted one of those water jet packs
Realistically, jump packs would make more sense than a jetpack. Staying in the air just makes you not have any cover :P
I think it only works if you're like, an XCOM sniper
I always get so excited seeing new Immersion in my sub box.
You guys have to be the best channel on youtube
Every time I read a comment about Boba Fett having the wrong jet pack I read it in the Chris Trott nerd voice. "Eeeerrrr technically Boba Fett does not need to control his jet pack by hand THANK YOU."
Chris looks a little
too buff to be a storm trooper
whoever chose the music for the video is amazing
5:20 this is why we didn't get that boba fett movie.
Or, maybe it's because Boba Fett's not that great of a character
Daimon Watkins in the EU he was good
TheSusMaster Which is now non-canon because of Disney.
Have you ever heard a geek drowning? Well there you go 3:07
Pretty funny XD
Yeah, usually they just drown in a toilet.
These Immersion episodes are great! Keep 'em comin', guys!
My soul cry's blood, every time I see Star Wars: Battlefront EA... What could have been.
Machewsan You should see Battlefront II. Canon campaign, all eras and a redone multiplayer. Need I say more?
in the clips they show in the beginning, you can see that Boba actually has his hands free when shooting.
I'm so glad Blaine got to be Boba Fett.
I just watched the previous immersion, went to the immersion playlist, and this gift awaited me lololol
Dur dur is this da one that didn work
The music sync with the shots and hits, awesome!
Wow, i got here at exactly 1000 views, 100 likes, and 0 dislikes.
My favorite part of this video was how INTO it Chris and Blaine got. They're rly just big nerds lol. Also the big splash whenever they wiped out was great
Why is Jon always so hot? Serious question.
This has got to be my favorite Immersion
Typical storm trooper aim.
This is the funniest episode of Immersion ever. We need more of this.
Thank you Texas Ranch for this! XD it was too cool and so much fun to watch!
lol these Immersion videos are fantastic. Might be my favorite series on UA-cam.
That was actually really amazing. Water jetpacks. Who cares if you can't shoot, hovering around in one of those must be fantastic
6:10 was amazing, especially the music change :D
The editors have been killing it lately.
Jon seemed so happy while shooting blaine xD
Probably releasing the pent up On The Spot anger
And for added realism, Chris and Blaine were given shooting lessons by the Galactic Empire!
"Perfect Marksmanship!" - Darth Vader
"100% Accuracy, I wish I could shoot as well as them!" - H. Stormtrooper
"These boys are the best of the best. The Empire is proud of you!" - The Emperor
when the music starts at 6:55 omg.... just perfect...
So graceful, Chris.
Very majestic.
Well done.
The Audio on this was impeccable!
This is a great ad for tippmann considering how many times those guns got dunked and kept going.
This is my favourite rooster teeth series
There’s something satisfying about someone saying “it’s over I have the high ground” then immediately getting destroyed
maybe the best immersion ever. i am crying
9:00 Jon going for the high five and having to play it off made me rly sad :(
I'm amazed they actually managed to fly! That contraption isn't the easiest to handle!
This is probably my favorite series!!
The name of the piece performed at approximately 7:00 is called the Blue Danube Walz by Johann Strauss II.
One discrepancy with Boba Fett is that he doesn't need to use his arms to control his jetpack, leaving him free to aim. I know this would be impossible to recreate in real life but I felt like pointing it out anyway. Very entertaining video, RT!
Babs and Jon are the best looking rebels I've ever seen
Blaine and Night on Bald Mountain? Noice
The references were great! "Now THIS is pod racing!"
That made my day. I would love to try this haha
Once again blown away by Immersion.
Superb job from whoever edited this!
His cheesin' ass grin
"like I could take on the whole empire myself. !"
5:14 & 8:21 who knew hard cuts in the music would make the clip 1000 times funnier
Immersions just keep getting better!!
The soundtrack makes it so much better!!!!
Wait, is there gunna be different people each time! I love it!!!
"I Have The High Ground!" seconds later he's in the water lol
Jon looks so happy
"You're going to have to take off the jetpack to put on the jetpack." HAHA!!
And those prequels quotes tho!
I'm loving the use of royalty-free, errr...I mean classical music in the background!
Whoever did music/sound did top notch. This was so funny xD
Literally love all the Star Wars references this episode 😂👍
Whoever edited the classical music deserves a raise.
Also, the name of the piece at approximately 8:10 is called The Ride of the Valkyrie by Richard Wagner.
I just attempted to watch this in the silent zone of a university. It's surprisingly difficult to contain a LOL moment; kinda like trying to hold a mouthful of water during a fit of laughter... get your towels ready
Gotta remember your All Guardsmen Party. Hovering in the air, where there is no cover and everyone can see you, is a terrible idea.
What is this sorcery?! 2 immersions in one month?! This is madness
I love Immersion. My favo(u)rite UA-cam series ever.
This was posted on my birthday... my life is complete
