It’s a charged explosive. It would be difficult to activate it by accident without the detonator which I assume a different staff member had while watching them from afar
If they made 100 different types of episodes of this specific immersion with Michael and gavin, I would never get bored of them! One of the funniest things I have ever seen.
X'D more than likely they had an explosive behind the wood wall and would only detonate it if the Lab Rats were safe(enough) from the blast. I'm sure you already knew it though! 😀
That amount of C4 would've blown the wall away and possibly injure the structure they were in, as well as leaving a sizeable crater. That was most likely a block of clay, and the "explosion" was either black powder and set dressing, a dot of C4, or maybe some ANFO. But, hey, it worked.
I love how Gavin kept getting excited and trying to break things by punching them, what they needed was Brett on loan from CowChop. Guy punches through doors just to unwind after a long day.
professional is defined as someone who gets payed to do something train can mean any amount and can be done by on the job, seeing as they have done these before they are technically trained
Except that by that weak definition, everyone who is employed is a 'trained professional'. Which means I'm all set for risking my neck doing stupid stuff I saw in a video game! Whooo!
Contains stunts performed by trained professionals. I have never seen any trained professional on this show since I started watching them....trained idiots yes...
with that hole at 6:00 when they noticed the timer was low i was just hoping so badly they would chuck the c4 through the hole in the doorway that they made. also losing the sledgehammer out the door im not sure was the smartest idea but it was hilarious.
Suggestion for an Immersion video: Fighting games allow two players to compete against one another in a 2D or 3D plane. With a still camera that follows the action, both players can anticipate what the other player will do But cmon... in a real fight, seeing the fight in 2D camera view wouldn't help you fight at all.... Or would it? Then they test a fight using VR headset just like RE immersion. One for Street Fighter (2D camera), one for a rotating camera in 3D (Tekken), and Smash (2D but pushing players off a stage)
El Pinguin Loco Well obviously not every job is as glamorous as Michael's and Gavin's, but can you think of many more that qualify as an office job that would be as great as theirs? I work in an office, I tell you, I have fun and all but not as much as fun as this.
TheBlondeKnight274 honestly as soon as I get the funding, I'll be looking for employees so... who knows if I can get the funding... you might be able to be a part of at least a similar company.
this was such a cool episode! shout out to the set designers for the rooms, cause they looked so cool! And for the crew that had to clean Gavin and Michael's mess between each shoot
Damn dude! Hopefully they do more cameos or collabs with the Slow Mo Guys. They'd make a pretty good team. (Maybe even one of them could direct a season or two of RvB!)
When they were breaking the pots and some didn't break it reminds me of the blooper of Always Sunny when Dennis tried to break the case when he was "helping" renovate the house.
DetectiveZoidberg Well Michael was an electrician, and Gavin is a respected slow motion cinematographer, so yeah they are trained professionals... Just not at this.
Burnie: safety first
Burnie: **gives Michael and Gavin a bomb**
Bruh
C4 is actually pretty safe as it will not explode unless given an electrical charge
It’s a charged explosive. It would be difficult to activate it by accident without the detonator which I assume a different staff member had while watching them from afar
I love how Michael just dishes out Zelda facts with ease even though they were running out of time
Immersion could really be a 45 minute tv show with real seasons on a real station
If they made 100 different types of episodes of this specific immersion with Michael and gavin, I would never get bored of them! One of the funniest things I have ever seen.
This is better than a 'real station'.
they were gonna have a TV show but they didn't
It would've screwed them over this is way better than game lab.
Joseph Shin can they do dark souls?
3:00
Play of the the game
Michael
as Reaper
*claps slowly*
XD
Jeremy could axe kick that box and I'd all be over
Tiny monster truck
Danny Dorito if you were a first member, you could watch Jeremy go through the course and possibly do that
It's like that movie, Kung Fu Hustle, the bald guy that faces the couple in that cassino
Marry me. That Kung Fu Hustle reference is enough. I want you for the rest of my life.
Danny Dorito he'd could axe kid the door
Can we just talk about that slow motion pot slash? It was pure beauty.
8:06 Here, I hope I was of great service
It was so smooth and perfectly done that I am amazed it was improvised.
Immersion just never gets old (:
Jonathan Miller it really doesnt
Jonathan Miller well it's like 2 years old so it could be consider old.
Crylaxis l yea but i think he mean comedic wise
ChrisTheCoolKid02 maybe 4 or 5
Immersion is 6 years old, ed-u-cate yo-self boy! XD
"I smashed an Xbox like this once"
That's a throwback.
What vid is that from again?????
Michael plays Catherine.
Good times
"I WAS RAISED IN NEW JERSEY!"
Oh come on, Jersey can't be _that_ bad.
Benjamin Klaassen North Jersey is and Central Jersey
Benjamin Klaassen I leave in a town next to Newark it’s pretty bad 😂😂 they find body’s in rivers over here
Me too
Micheal was having the time of his life in the Zelda room. In both real and video game world. It was hilarious to watch.
Gavin's antics throughout this were great. Never laughed that much for Immersion before.
Deion S
"Trained Professionals"
Watch the car episode with Michael and gavin
I've seen it. But I didn't really laugh.
Deion S especially smacking a pot against his helmet lol
This has been a really strong season for Immersion so far
*Uses an actual explosion*
Rooster Teeth: Our Crew is expendable, your entertainment isn't.
I love how Gavin's reaction to finding a sledgehammer is "PETER GABRIEL!!!"
It's a great song. :D
raptormaster666
Show me round your fruitcage? I can be your honey bee.
Show me round your fruitcage? Where the fruit, yeah, as sweet as can be.
Gavin yelling out "PETER GABRIEL!" when he found the sledgehammer might be the best part of this whole video for me.
What's the reason, I just figured it was some weird Brit thing.
+Digital Death Peter Gabriel sung the song "Sledgehammer"
Ah
98% of the people who watched this video probably didn't get the reference.
I died laughing. This improbably one of my favourite videos solely because of that
"Trained professionals" when exactly were Michael and Gavin trained?
Hollow Dreams Official Or Professionals!
professional just means you do it for a living technically they do run obstacle courses for a living since they get paid for this
Achievement Hunter
stupidity
Dont they have experience with actual stunts and special effects? Especially Gavin
I love how fast these are coming out don't ever stop
Coming out as fast as young youtube stars
They actually filmed them months ago, so they're all coming out now!
inbefore half a year of nothing.
Jart Hanni that's what she said
Jart Hanni completely agree
Man, this series of immersion have been top notch! Resident evil, hitman, and this are all great!!!
Yeah, but dont you miss the good old days where they just tested to see how long clothes would stay on girls who were punching eachother
That moment your boss gives you bomb with a timer on it.
Alha albar
Mondays, am I rite?
Chair Meme I think it would’ve had a button to deactivate it, obviously they don’t want Gav and Mike to explode.
That's one way to fire someone.
Bernie: how much are you willing to do to keep your jobs hehehe *laughs evily*
Micheal's break of immerison was hilarious and well executed.
I love how Gavin kept getting excited and trying to break things by punching them, what they needed was Brett on loan from CowChop. Guy punches through doors just to unwind after a long day.
Tycho Azrephet Or get lil J and his destructive kicks
Brett would've smashed this course so hard hahaha.
HERE'S BRETT
Tycho Azrephet Gavin got so excited he forgot he has the muscles of a prepubescent child 😂 still love the guy
Gavin singing Sledgehammer while pummelling a door with a sledgehammer made my day
I'm super jealous. I would have loved to do that.
I want a Rooster Teeth amusement park that features all their immersion 'experiments'
THIS LOOKS SO AMAZING
Immersion has basically become the Team Nice Dynamite Show
Aw, you know you love it though.
Wh33tbread trust me, I'm not complaining :)
Play Pals: Real Life
The phrase "bull in a China shop" should be replaced with "Gav and Michael in an obstacle course."
I loved that "hot potato" moment that Michael and Gavin had. Anyone else?
"C'mon guys just throw it out the hole with the sledge, you may not get there but the bomb will."
was thinking that too, thought they were going to just toss it through the hole at the back wall.
Ever since I was a little kid I always wanted to smash pots like Link. So jealous right now.
Michael bounced hard off the Six Seige door.
Watching Gavin getting hurt trying to destroy stuff is the funniest thing I have ever seen from roosterteeth.
the most surprising part of this immersion was that Gavin was able to lift the sledgehammer.
Should have rolled through everything like in Dark Souls.
BEST HAT EVER
GuyWithAnAmazingHat nerd

Praise the Sun
... 'trained professionals'?
professional is defined as someone who gets payed to do something
train can mean any amount and can be done by on the job, seeing as they have done these before they are technically trained
Except that by that weak definition, everyone who is employed is a 'trained professional'. Which means I'm all set for risking my neck doing stupid stuff I saw in a video game! Whooo!
in their case they have a lot of experience lol
This is my new favorite episode of Immersion. It's so much fun watching Michael and Gavin just break stuff.
Contains stunts performed by trained professionals. I have never seen any trained professional on this show since I started watching them....trained idiots yes...
ThyBountyHunter but they get paid and this is their profession. not sure about being "trained" tho
They played the games; that counts... right?
Someone tells them before shooting how to swing a crowbar so they're trained.
Don't call them that! They're not trained!
u mean idiots in training
Man, this season of Immersion is breaking all the molds. They even let Gavin win Science!
I haven't watched the video yet but I hope Micheal brings out his inner Jersey.
Insert-name-here funny you mention it... XD
Insert-name-here I hope that was enough Jersey for you
Naruko Naruto If only Jeremy was here. They would be done in 3 minutes, tops.
with that hole at 6:00 when they noticed the timer was low i was just hoping so badly they would chuck the c4 through the hole in the doorway that they made. also losing the sledgehammer out the door im not sure was the smartest idea but it was hilarious.
8:06 Well, I see their training under Monty way back when is coming in handy. ^_^
Fun fact Gavin:
Link is left handed!
Stroopwafel HEYEAH!!!
1. gordon freeman has a powersuit
2. link lives in a world of magic
3. rainbow six are trained marines/soldiers
Lol so? It's immersion, they make the rules.
Louis Vasquez He's explaining why it happens. Not how "Immersion" should be...
I'm fairly sure even trained marines/soldiers aren't able to bust a hole in plywood in one quick punch.
Its not a power suit freeman wears, its more just a hazmat suit.
well they are special forces
Suggestion for an Immersion video: Fighting games allow two players to compete against one another in a 2D or 3D plane. With a still camera that follows the action, both players can anticipate what the other player will do

Then they test a fight using VR headset just like RE immersion. One for Street Fighter (2D camera), one for a rotating camera in 3D (Tekken), and Smash (2D but pushing players off a stage)
Jacob Lopez 1problem, Michael would win always.
Almann not unless they had all of the lab rats
Gavin and Michael are professionals? In anything?
Michael: Professional screamer
Gavin: Professional Brit
Michael is a trained electrician, and Gavin work professionally on movie production.
They technically get paid at rooster teeth for...whateve
imagine if they did a team immersion where it was Gavin and Michael vs Gus and Geoff (new labrats vs old labrats)
Michael used Battle Cry on crate:
"I WAS RAISED IN NEW JERSEY!!"
It's not very effective.
should've had jeremy so he could axe kick the box
Braydon Treis "it won't go through"
Luke Hallett Really? I need to see that!
Wow....... Michael is filled with rage.
2:54 "I smashed an xbox like this once" Gotta be one of my favorite quotes
The production quality in this episode was great!
Burnie Michael and Gavin all together is what gives life its meaning
And Gus. Don't ever forget Gust.
Gus*
Anybody else notice that Gavin put a hole through the wall when he threw the box at it?
I love how Michael tries to be a badass and break the door down by concussing himself
thank you guys for doing these more you guys should do like a batman arkham thing like have them dress as batman and try to clear a room quietly
***** how funny would that be tho
ChrisTheCoolKid02 They kinda already did that with Metal Gear tho.:.
RealOJ4Ever yea but you didnt have to clear the room you just had to get the ID and escape
I love how Gavin and Michael threw the bomb to each other instead of throwing it out the window XD
3:57 "Sort of took me out the moment there."
So what you're saying is Michael... broke your Immersion?
there should've been a room full of chairs like in dark souls or bloodbourne
And you have to roll over them to break them
assuming they don't die 900 times before they get to that room
4:50 Gavin's like he's gonna do it this is amazing this is the most awesome thing I have ever seen! ohhhhhhhh...
In Rainbow Six Siege, players use their guns to break barricades, not just their hands.
That jump through the plywood was pretty awesome
the chemistry between these 2 is just fantastic
This is the best season of Immersion so far.
I laughed so hard watching Michael literally BOUNCE off the plywood.
Truly my favourite video on UA-cam, the slo-mo camera really added something there. Those two are the best.
so where do i apply for a job in rooster teeth?
snaperz roosterteeth.com
Even if you get a job there you will most definitely won't be known because they leave that to the people that get some camera time.
Flabbymeat, who needs to be known, just being an intern would be the greatest experience of your life working with these fools.
TheStoned Otaku Well yeah but even then it's not the same that you see on camera. It won't be as much fun.
snaperz Austin Texas
Golden stage for Rooster teeth.
7:53 Michaels life is finally complete.
No exaggeration the funniest video I've seen
Imagine being paid to do things like this...man Rooster Teeth would be a great place to work.
El Pinguin Loco Well obviously not every job is as glamorous as Michael's and Gavin's, but can you think of many more that qualify as an office job that would be as great as theirs? I work in an office, I tell you, I have fun and all but not as much as fun as this.
TheBlondeKnight274 I'd basically be the next gavinofree country wise if I joined
+theblondeknight274 and I'm trying to start a company like rooster teeth m8
Good luck with that!
TheBlondeKnight274 honestly as soon as I get the funding, I'll be looking for employees so... who knows if I can get the funding... you might be able to be a part of at least a similar company.
I absolutely love this new season, it seems like they put out an episode a day!
This new season of immersion is amazing
It's clear they're both having the time of their lives, so it's really fun to watch! Season 4 has been absolutely awesome.
5:31 PETER GABRIEL!! best line in the whole video
Ilias Daskalakis I think, "I was raised in New Jersey!" was better. But that one's a close second.
Jose R nah definitely "peter Gabriel"
this was such a cool episode! shout out to the set designers for the rooms, cause they looked so cool! And for the crew that had to clean Gavin and Michael's mess between each shoot
I know the C4 is fake till the end part still pretty cool
I love that they said punch through but they have a defender use the crowbar
8:04 8:54 Do you think that maybe they collab-ed with the Slow Mo Guys on this one?
stfu please
King Kuna stfu please
Slow Mo Guys didn't invent slow motion capture.
they own slo mo guys, slo mo guys didn't invent slow motion and one of the slo mo guys is running the course.
Damn dude! Hopefully they do more cameos or collabs with the Slow Mo Guys. They'd make a pretty good team. (Maybe even one of them could direct a season or two of RvB!)
that was the most entertaining thing ive seen all day
3:57 Gavin: You sorta too me out of the moment. I guess you can say you lost the immersion of it?.
Love the beginning, "Trained Professionals"
"Professionals"....Gavin and Michael....
"Trained"
Even a goldfish can be "trained"
Yes, goldfish can be trained, but I am not so sure about Michael and Gavin...
Honestly, this is my FAVORITE episode of Immersion, by FAR.
7:30 Gavin puts a hole in the wall but box is unaffected lol
I need more michael and gavin content
Already finished playpals. And most of the lets plays
This whole episode is probably just an excuse for a DIY rage room.
One of my favorite episodes yet, seems like they were having so much fun.
8:50 did it really take 20 seconds to fall through those?
I usually don't believe the "timers" since most of the time it's never accurate. Only used for the dramatic effect like "omg are they gonna make it?!"
It's RT I don't accuracy is on their list of priorities
Duh, they were in slo mo
That's how mafia works
the production in these is just getting better and better
I miss this series
As soon as Burnie walked into the obstacle course, I knew this would be an amazing episode.
"Peter Gabriel!"
That made my day.
I cannot think of anything more fun than doing this.
"Gavin not the smartest"
Never have truer words been said 😁
Gavin sliding back into the Legend of Zelda room was the breaking point for me.
Michael bouncing off the wall lol
When they were breaking the pots and some didn't break it reminds me of the blooper of Always Sunny when Dennis tried to break the case when he was "helping" renovate the house.
spree of immersion vids recently keep em comin
I really love how the start of the video implies Micheal and Gavin and "trained professionals"
DetectiveZoidberg Well Michael was an electrician, and Gavin is a respected slow motion cinematographer, so yeah they are trained professionals... Just not at this.
Chris Plays Games Oh true, I'd forgotten he was an electrician. My bad.
Please please please do a "JUST CAUSE" immersion
Am I the only one who thinks this should be a thing?
FlamelordEcho *Arm gets dislocated by grappling hook*
Tantalized_Funyons I see gavin doing that
the game series gives the middle finger to physics tho
I just love the way Gavin runs after he finds the sledgehammer and yells PETER GABRIEL!!!
I found the myth busters of video games
Rooster Teeth has taken Immersion to a whole new level this season. Kudos.
*I WAS RAISED IN NEW JERSEY!!!!*
