I believe he’s not literally residing in the palm of God’s right hand, but it’s more of a term to explain the state of authority that Jesus has. For example, in the military, when someone is referred to as a “right hand man”, especially for the person highest in command, it usually infers that they have almost the same authority as that person they are the “right hand man” of. This implies they have more authority than everyone besides the highest in command. In this sense, Jesus residing at the right hand of God implies he is above all other authority besides God (because he is God).
